Default How to Consume and Store Herbal Supplements?

I am going to be purchasing "raw" Rhodiola in the near future. I have never done this before, I have only purchased capsule, soft gels, etc. I understand that many boil the plant in tea or a similar drink. Is there any other way to consume? That seems quite bothersome. Also, how should the plants be stored?

Raw herbal plant material should be stored in an airtight container, away from light/sun, and heat. Keep in a cool place.

This may help:

You can Google, "how to prepare rhodiola" and find more.

It would be a good idea for have a food scale that measures metric, so that you can measure out your raw herb accurately.

Okay. What do you think of the safety of buying plants? I feel like it is a little sketchy and I wonder if they could be damaged or tampered with in some way.

Just know from whom you are buying from.
There should be some safety and certification offered by
the seller.

China remains, iffy, these days, with so many reports of
contamination etc.
