How likely is this to cause a fast heart rate? I have read that arrhrythmias
have occurred at a dose of 1200mg per day but most sources don't list that as a side effect. I don't know how much I am taking, I think around 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon with black pepper and olive oil which is supposed to improve bioavailability (?). 2x daily. Can it cause a burning mouth? I had to go back on higher doses of COPD meds and some of my neuropathy symptoms returned. I've develped a burning mouth which seems to start awhile after I have used Spiriva and lasts for several hours but I didn't know if turmeric could be the cullprit. thanks, judi |

I take tumeric for my stomach. I have barretts esophagus. This has never given me any side effects. On the contrary it has helped my stomach issues very well. I was able to get off a proton pump inhibitor. Hope Mrs. D will answer you as she is quite knowledgeable about suppliments. ginnie
