Default Question about Liquid Oxygen

Hi all!!

I was talking to my friend over the phone (she knows I make fresh juice each morning for my husband (and a tiny bit for me, because I'm diabetic). So far, I'm doing fine, and he's having a ball, between the pineapple, the berries, (blue and straw), and other concoctions I made each morning.

So she says "you know that juice you make each morning, and I said Yeah, what about it, and she says "well, it's not doing anything, not going to the cells, it's bad, it's full of sugar". So I said "Well, it's good enough for Jack LaLanne and he's over 90."

She was talking to a person in a health store and that person said 'Don't juice, just take liquid oxygen".

I said 'what the heck is Liquid Oxygen, I've never heard of it".

She just said 'just take it".

Now I'm not buying anything I've never heard of.

Anybody know anything about this??

What exactly is it??

Thanks much.

Melody

Default In the process of googling--

--I came up with a few sites that promote dissolved oxygen in a liquid of some sort as a supplement, but I don't know if there's any efficacy to this (I suspect not).

The only other liquid oxygen I know is rocket fuel, such as spacecraft and missles use. It is oxygen frozen down to hundreds of degrees below zero Farenheit and packed under great pressure. (Don't think you can use that for neurological symptoms.)

One other thing--as a diabetic, do be careful how much fruit juice you consume; it can be quite a load of sugar to handle at once. Most dietary experts seem to feel it might be better to eat a portion of the whole fruit--more nutrients and fiber to keep the sugar absorption rate more stable.

Lightbulb first rule...

DO NOT believe people who work in health food stores.

They are typically very poor sources of true information.

Liquid oxygen probably means hydrogen peroxide therapy.

You can Google that. You see, that sales person could not
even give the correct name.
example:
http://h2o2hydrogenperoxide.com/

I am quite guarded about this. I am not convinced it is safe.

Glenn:

Thanks for the info. I KNOW ABOUT FRUIT JUICE. I rarely have a glass. Yesterday it hit almost 100, so I said 'well, if my body can't handle half a cup at 8 a.m. in the morning, it will let me know tomorrow morning".

And last night I actually had a nice bowl of fresh strawberries, after my dinner.

I HAD STRAWBERRIES!!!!

How exciting.

This morning???? 114.

I CAN EAT STRAWBERRIES!!!!

Yippee

Life is good. (when one can have a handful of berries).

I won't make a habit of this, but it was a nice treat.
