Default ADD & Depression battles

Hello. I was diagnosed with ADD at 14. I was put on ritalin and than adderall in high school. It motivated me and my grades went from Ds to As however I was so hyperfocused I suffered socially. Then there are the come downs, moodiness, insomnia and zombie like behavior. If I don't take the meds I am crippled with depression have no motivation...and blip out like some invalid. I want to know if there are any supplements out there to elevate dopamine since the frontal lobe isn't functioning properly I feel I have to take these meds to function....any advice on supplements or any other methods would be so much appreciated. I also suffer from anxiety I don't remember the last time I woke up ready to face the day the depression is paralyzing!

Can't really address the anxiety issues.

But experimenting on myself and then some friends following what I did... has led to noticeable improvement with mild depression and memory loss as the result of prescribed medication...

The following supplements have helped with mild depression:
Fish Oil
Vitamin D3
B Complex

This helped with Energy
B 12 ( Methyl type/chewable)

This helped with memory
PS 100 ( check reviews on iherb)

Mood swings are tricky and can be aggravated by ADD meds. You likely need an evaluation.

Of course you should double check with a medical professional any and all supplements you decide to take.

I'll ask someone I know with similar issues. She's on vacation now, but should return this week. Might be a few days before I can get any feedback.
