I forgot to mention. The site I found, which I mentioned had a lot of correct information, also didn't know enough to distinguish pernicious anemia (lack of intrinsic factor) from megaloblastic anemia (an actual anemia that sometimes results from B12 deficiency). "Pernicious anemia" is a cause of severe malabsorption, not an anemia.

I'm with mrsd. I am not a fan of these patch marketers.
