Default Vitamins to take after coming off a benzo

I have been on Valium 5 mg for the past three years which I used for a sleep aide. After reading Dr. Ashton's manual I first became aware of what a benzo does to your brain. It's a chemical that alters your brain and it effects the GABA and Glutemate and your entire Central Nervous System. Once you stop taking a benzo it could take months or even a year until your GABA and Glutemate reprogram to where your brain was before taking a benzo. Does anyone know of any Vitamins that might help expedite the recovery process? Most doctors love to prescribe a benzo however they know nothing about the terrible withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking a benzo. The only person who knows all about Benzo's is Dr. Heather Ashton who is now 86 years old and she ran a Benzo clinic in the UK.

You might the information in this site helpful: http://www.benzo.org.uk/ashsupp11.htm#suppl .

My interpretation of it is that Professor Ashton is not in favour of using nutritional supplements of any kind during the process of benzodiazepine withdrawal.
