It's getting complicated. I have this neck pain for 2 and a 1/2 months now, insurance denied the neck MRI so I have to have 6 weeks of physical therapy, then they will maybe allow it, I'm on my 4-th week of PT and it's not helping at all. My rheumy run some blood tests, and even the CRP was high 20 ( 0-4.9 ) he said it's probably because I had a cold at the time of blood drawing. But today my physical therapist told me maybe it's tendonitis in my neck ??? could that cause a high CRP ? I don't know what to do now, which dr. to call , nobody connected my neck pain to tendonitis.

Hi nyuszisue
It could be that your physical therapist is onto something. Tendonitis often has an inflammatory component which could explain your elevated CRP level. Sometimes NSAIDS (ibuprofen, etc) are recommended for it - something that you might discuss with your physical therapist and doctor. I hope that things improve for you soon.
