Just bought 2 bottles of Revive and YES high in potassium. Of all the Zero water on the shelves, this Revive was almost out of stock....guess others are looking at the potassium. I'm anxious to try it when it's colder..

Hi Caroline, I’m glad you found the Revive fruit punch. It’s been a great way for me to get extra potassium, and I drink at least one bottle daily. I like it best cold, but I don’t mind drinking it at room temperature during winter months.

Thanks for the info, Caroline. I’ve never tried coconut water, but I’m going to look for it the next time I’m out shopping.

Auntie Audrey...does the Revive Fruit punch have a purple label and say excellent source of C and B and has a check by the word "potassium?" I think I found it on line.

Hi Vowel Lady, Yes, that's it.
In my area the Vitamin Water Zero Revive fruit punch is always available at Target, and sometimes at Walmart. Here is the product: http://www.target.com/p/vitaminwater...#prodSlot=_1_2 If you click on the “label info” you’ll see that it contains 880 mg of potassium and is sweetened with Stevia. |

Talking to my friend who brought this potassium to my attention, tells me this is what she takes outside of the foods:
((The 1100 - 1500 I take is from capsules, and maybe the V8 - it doesn't take into account any potassium from food. E.g., I will take around 300 mg. potassium gluconate after each breakfast, lunch and dinner, and then another 200 mg. in the middle of the night when I wake up, and then sometimes a glass of V8 as well. So if you add it up, it comes to around 1300 mg. and then if I drink some V8, it's another 900 mg. So with the RDA where it's at, this is no where near that 4000+ daily intake. |

Got an alert message today from a health friend who reported that Topomax pulls potassium from the body. I wouldn't doubt if many other meds do too. We can't be lax on this I believe. Here is a thread about symptoms of low potassium and neuropathy is mentioned too:
