Default Optimum Vit D Level

I know I felt best when my level was 80 before hip replacement. Then it did drop 40 pts with this surgery which I had read it could drop BUT 40 pts!!! So I've been working my way back up.

Here is an article with 4-5 different opinions on Optimum levels.

I'm going to take 15K daily for a few days and see how I feel. Normally I take 5K daily, some days 10K. Anyway, something to think about on this huge epidemic.

I've read that when one spends a day at the beach we can get 40,000 IU's of Vit D. I did sunbathing for many years. Came in from the sun in my early 50's.
