Default Vit B2 (Riboflavin) Benefits

I continue to learn and with age everything is changing/depleting. I work with the B vitamins and now finding how important B2 is. So many vitamins lose the effectiveness in cooking. I'm not a raw fooder.

Years ago there was a DR. at The University of Georgia who found that a little extra B2 would often clear up cataracts. I read about this back in 1975 and my memory is a little hazy about the details but the dose wasn't huge perhaps 50mg a day for a few weeks. But if the people stopped it for a while they came back. About 4 years ago I was starting to get cataracts as verified by my eye DR. Well I started taking some B2 and they seem to have cleared up. If I don't take any for a few months I again get some of the early symptoms but just take the B2 for a few days and my eyes clear up.

I take a 100mg capsule daily now and will stick with it. On the cataracts, I'm good there and take other supps for eye health too and believe grape seed ex which I take for a lot of years helps with eye health and so much more.
