Default Vit C, Vit D, Zinc and Grape Seed Extract

If one can get on Grape Seed Ex it's just a huge icing on it all...if not the other 3 are important and breath, breath., breath. Just hearing news out of Mexico City via NPR, more and more and dying since they can't get their oxygen tanks filled, and these countries for the MOST do not take supplements...the U.S. I have to venture to say are the biggest takers of supplements...Many countries in the world cannot afford supplements for a big one.

From day 1 of all this covid, the respiratory system was discussed, and as we know all the use of ventilators and oxygen tanks, omg.

I have posted about grape seed extract for so much from asthma, copd and more issues and it's true, you can find info about all these respiratory issues and grape seed ex...Vit C is important and Grape Seed Ex is 50 times more powerful than C....D is critical too, so be on top of it....

Keep a healthy immune system.,

Where do these numbers come from? The details are important in both science and evidence-based medicine.

One place that gives that info....
[Abstract

Grape seeds are waste products of the winery and grape juice industry. These seeds contain lipid, protein, carbohydrates, and 5-8% polyphenols depending on the variety. Polyphenols in grape seeds are mainly flavonoids, including gallic acid, the monomeric flavan-3-ols catechin, epicatechin, gallocatechin, epigallocatechin, and epicatechin 3-O-gallate, and procyanidin dimers, trimers, and more highly polymerized procyanidins. Grape seed extract is known as a powerful antioxidant that protects the body from premature aging, disease, and decay. Grape seeds contains mainly phenols such as proanthocyanidins (oligomeric proanthocyanidins). Scientific studies have shown that the antioxidant power of proanthocyanidins is 20 times greater than vitamin E and 50 times greater than vitamin C. Extensive research suggests that grape seed extract is beneficial in many areas of health because of its antioxidant effect to bond with collagen, promoting youthful skin, cell health, elasticity, and flexibility. Other studies have shown that proanthocyanidins help to protect the body from sun damage, to improve vision, to improve flexibility in joints, arteries, and body tissues such as the heart, and to improve blood circulation by strengthening capillaries, arteries, and veins. The most abundant phenolic compounds isolated from grape seed are catechins, epicatechin, procyanidin, and some dimers and trimers.]

Since I posted this it's come to me that Quercetin 500mg is best taken to make sure the Zinc is going into the body's cells from the bloodstream.

This is primarily about Vit D and how important and more so now than ever with the covid mess.

Back in 2006 I found how low I was in Vit D, I was 68 and did not dream I was low, but at that time I was also feeling a Lowness overall in my being. My sister who was dealing with MS brought the D issue to my attention and so I got tested by MD and sure enough I was a puney 16 on a range of 20-100, so low low low.

Here are eight symptoms that you may have a vitamin d deficiency. This is one of the most common nutrient defic…
Healthline

So I got to work and brought my levels up to 80 and was feeling great and then I had a hip replacement in 2010 and my levels dropped 40 pts, I read that they could drop but that much. So I've worked to years now to bring my levels back up and I'm nearing 50 or so now, I'm seeing my MD next month and will have labs done.

I've read so much info during this Covid drama we've been living in and many dying, that so many older folks and those in poor health had low Vit D levels.

If you have not already get the Vit D levels tested by your MD, some MD's I understand are now bringing this up to their patients and many still do not...what a shame.

Dr. Ryan Cole has a wonderful right to the point video on Vit D and how critical it is and as I said more than ever during this Covid.

I have a strong believe that many would be alive today if their Vit D levels were close to optimal or satisfactory. Millions who have died I believe and others do too, their Vit D levels were Empty.

A search of PubMed to see if anything has been published on the effects of Vitamin D on infection with Covid-19 is worth a try.

https://www.advisory.com/en/daily-br...1/14/vitamin-d

Many older people and those with compromised immune systems are NOT outdoors, exercising etc and getting even a little sun. Older folks who are robust that's another story. I listen to several MD's daily and the Vit D deficiency is horrible, covid or not. If you have not had labs done, good thing to do.

I spent 4.5 months in rehabs for knee issue some yrs back and I saw a lot of older people and I'd bet $$$ all pretty much Vit D deficient.
