1) very expensive
2) I cannot find the ingredients...what type of B12 is in it, etc. or how much. Is the B6 activated? or just regular pyridoxine? How much pyridoxine, how much folate..what kind of folate? The B12 is cyano...I just found that on the bottom of one page, after looking for a long time. 3) I do not believe that it all is absorbed sublingually...just because it dissolves. It is being dissolved into your saliva which you then swallow ultimately. (certainly you don't spit it out? ) There are many B12 products out there capitalizing on the increasing awareness of the need for B12 supplements. If you don't mind spending alot of money, then go for it. Slick websites tie into our need for BELIEF... which many people need in order to make a decision. Better that they pay for it, and get it, than not do anything at all, IMO. Want to pay money and get a superior product? One with the best folic acid ever? http://www.hsfighters.com/ingredients.htm This product shows you the ingredients, clearly....no hunting around. methylfolate is no longer available as a single nutrient in OTC products because of the Merck company's new policies. So we cannot take advantage of it, to help ourselves inexpensively like in the past. This product has methylcobalamin and methylfolate, with regular pyridoxine. And it is expensive too. There is no evidence that B6 or folate need to be given sublingually.

In my opinion, TriVita's marketing, prices and product suck. Every time I see one of their ads online my disgust is renewed.
I don't have time to hang around, but one of those unethical marketers (in my opinion) has again been brought to my attention. If it seems the product you are considering is being marketed as a new kind of B12 that will get through when others won't, and the word "sublingual" is being thrown around as if it is the magic key, I suggest you get a different product. TV advertising, high price, automatic shipping are not good signs in my opinion. Some of the better brands won't even use the word "sublingual" on their B12 products because B12 is a large molecule and because the large (1000 mcg or more at a time) dose has been known for many years to treat even severe malabsorption. And that dose of methylcobalamin is even better. rose
