Default A few supp?

I met with a holistic doc who also does meds but any how he wants me to start these supplements and I would like your opinion. Anyhow I had switched before this on rec from the board to slow mag but he wants me to take magnesium glycindfe the spelling may be wrong. Anyhow 120 mg and what you do is you start with 1 and work your way up to 10 a day depending on when it causes diarea and then you reduce it to the amount you had right before and that is how much you take. Thoughts?
The fish oil he said epa:dha 6:1 and you take 3 and gla forte in borage oil 3 a day.The goal is epa 1500mg.
Kaprex 1 cap 2 times a day and it is for pain
Diaxinol 1 cap 2 times a day to get the sugar to the brain
Monavie 2oz twice a day
Metafiber 2 scoops a day
In addition a multi vitamin,vitamin c 500mg,glucoasmine msn 2 a day,calcium with d 600mg 2 times these I already took and will continue.
He did not talk about b vitamins which I wanted to ask but ran out of time. My b levels are high without it like 1500-2000. Any thoughts. Also I have a pottasium ? I thought bananas were the highest in this and they are high but other veggies like brocolli or fruit like cantalope is high with it as well. So is there some reason they always talk about bananas?I have been having bananas just because of the potassium but there not my favorite or are they better absorbed? I heard it can help with cramping. Thanks.

Lightbulb I have a few qualms

about these 3--- very expensive for what you get:

Kaprex
Diaxinol
Monavie

If you want to spend big bucks, then go ahead with these. The Diaxinol is for people with ELEVATED blood sugars, and the herb in it reduces blood sugar.
It does not necessarily send more sugar to the brain. I don't understand that
comment.

All three are easily Googled... you can see for yourself.

Magnesium and EFAs...are good. You won't find me in disagreement there.

Exactly what B's are high in your blood? I am unclear with that statement too.

Here is a list of potassium in foods:
http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/food...sium-foods.htm

Notice that one cup of yogurt has more than one medium sized banana.
One cup of winter squash is almost double a banana.

Whole foods in general have good amounts of potassium. And things like beans and Edamame beans have high levels of magnesium too.

Thanks always. Is that magnesium better then the slow mag and is taking up to 10 depending when I get diarea good? That seemed extreme.
That is what I thought about pottasium when I looked it up on different foods. I had always heard the bananas for pottasium so I assumed they were the best but like you said others are higher.
My b12 in my bloodwork ranges 1500-2000 it actually went down to 1500 after I started b12 and when it was 2000 I was just taking complex. Then my neuro said to stop them so I did. So I wanted to ask this doc but no time.
Kaprex is for round the clock pain has anyone seen it help or like you say just expensive?
Lastly I have started to take epsom salt baths and am not that into it but I hope may be with time it will help. Does anyone find benefit?
Thanks always

Lightbulb SlowMag is gentle

that is why I use it and recommend it.
It was designed for doctors originally to use.

Epsom salts are great. I've posted that so many times I can't count them all!

Everyone responds to magnesium differently. Hence your directions from your doctor.

Mrs d when you make a bath with epsom salt how many cups of the salt do you use? I can't get the amount right it seems.
As for the slow mag I was using it but I wouldn't know how to work up to 10 with that so I may change to the other kind to see. I just can't imagine taking like 10 120mg a day because let me tell you it take a lot for me to go bm. Its a major issue.
