When you get to be my age, a thrill shopping in a store is finding a
GOOD plucking tweezer! Seems they are very hard to come by. After a while one can do it without a mirror, and while watching TV! LOLOLOL (saves time that way )

I recall how devastated I was when my hair was falling out. There was hair all over the place...bed, car, home, etc. I do hope you will research the different kinds of thyroid hormones available. If you are hypothyroid and have been placed on meds, I'm sure you need medication. Some meds have both the T4 and T3 in them. Some doctors believe that certain folks need to take both. But, if you still have symptoms of low thyroid (which would include hair loss), than it might very well be something to explore. For me, vitamins and the proper thryoid medication did the trick. I also really got "into" a healthy way of living including eating properly and exercise. But my "gut" tells me it was the right thyroid hormone and vitamins that really did the trick. Knock on wood, lighting a candle, crossing myself, thanking my higher power and doctor, I have a full head of shiney, hair today.

What helped me grow my hair back...(Just kept losing it by the handfuls for no reason I could figure out), was biotin, 1 or two caps 2 or 3 times a day and followed up with omega 3 fatty acids. Biotin started the growth and omea 3 strengthened the hair ro prevent the new hair from falling out.
Hope it helps you. Betty Ann |

You need the healthy oils in your diet. Dr Oz even says 1 to 2 tablespoons daily of olive oil. It helps keep you satisfied and absorbs other nutrients. Healthy fats can be a part of a weight loss diet. The key moderation and the good ones.Other healthy omegas like ground flaxseed you can add to oatmeal, salmon etc.

You can get Biotin tablets and omega3 fish oil softgels from iherb.
I have bought from them for years BUT I am not affiliated with them in any way. Just like their dependability. The Biotin and omega3 works for me but it may or may not work for everyone. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try it. Betty |
