Default B12 level 427--is this causing my symptoms?

I have been reading the forum and appreciate all of the information from all of the people here. I apologize in advance for asking for advice on something that has already been so widely discussed. I'm sure if I had the time and energy I could search and find the information I am seeking but...

I have been dealing with intense fatigue and a vague dizziness sensation for a few months. I get motion sickness practically at the turn of the head and there's something related to my vision or my eyes. It is hard to describe and I don't know if it is a processing thing or an eye thing. If I move my eyes from one side to the other I get dizzy and can actually become nauseous. Also, it seems like there is a delay in the focusing.

I initially had a very mild anemia that seemed unrelated to iron (my ferritin was 57). I had blood tests recently to check on the anemia and also to check my b12, folate, and homocysteine. My CBC came back with everything within range, by folate was >24, my homocysteine was 4.2, and my B12 was 427.

I found a couple of sites suggesting that a b12 level under 500 could cause symptoms. I don't think my doctor will think that my symptoms are due to a lack of B12 since she called and said everything was fine.

So, is it likely that my symptoms are related to B12? And, I have started taking SL B12 anyway, but it is the cyanacobolamin not the methylcobalamin. Can I raise my B12 with the cyanacobolamin or should I trash it and buy some of the methyl?

How much do I need to take to raise my levels the fastest. Obviously I want to feel better as soon as possible and if it is due to low b12 I need to take b12. I don't want to take too little but I don't want to waste it either. Right now I am taking 1000 to 1500 mcg of the cyanacobolamin daily.

Thanks in advance and again sorry for not searching further for the answers!
