Default Increasing Omegas?

I have only been taking 1 1000mg of flaxseed. I see no change and it has been awhile. Can I add a fish oil supp to this? The eye doc I see for dry eye said not to mix the two because it mixes the oils in your system. I think he may be confused cause he didn't know the dosages of flaxseed even. I had also saw an eye therapy omega that had both fish and flax. What would be a good mix of amounts? Thanks

Exclamation that has to be the lamest comment

by a doctor ever. I wonder what he would say if you had salmon for dinner tonight?

Fish oil is more anti-inflammatory than flax. But flax has other benefits, that
fish oil doesn't. We need BOTH.

Flax oil and fish oil are macronutrients...NOT drugs.

If you took 15 grams of fish oil, at a sitting you would approach a "drug"
effect, but not in the amounts you are using which are FOOD amounts.

Flax oil is a food, and so is fish oil, basically.

Speaking of dry eyes...I just started taking mega doses of vitC as I was floored and so weak after going outside and walking around on the worse high pollen days this spring(I took it up to bowl tolerance then backed down just a bit).

For a couple of years my eyes have been so dry and seemed to recently be getting worse, you know, rubbing sharp crumbly matter out all day long not just on waking up.

The Vit C seems to be clearing them up nicely! I have been at this about a week and today I* noticed they were moister and I wasn't wiping dry stuff off.

It also helped me get over the pollen episode.

Just my 2 pennies worth.
