Default Niacin flush?

I have been taking Jarrow's b-right for months now with no problem. Today I had a back ach so I took aleve. About a half hour later my neck and face started to sting and I turned bright red. Then it started moving down my body to my knees. I think this must have been a niacin flush but Iam not sure. Has this happend to anyone before??

Default Yes!!!

It totally freaked me out! I remember feeling a little nauseous as well. It took a few hours to subside but before I found out what was happening it was frightening. I'm not familiar with what you're taking but I was taking straight Niacin.

b-right is just a b-complex vitamin. I forgot to add that I just started doubling my amount of magneisum turate. form 125 to 250 a day. By the way I see you have been dx with MS. My doctor has still not ruled this out for me. I had an MRI back in Oct. that showed lesions but they are not sure what they are from. Just yesterday my right arm was slightly numb. I still wonder about MS, but my doctor seems to think that I do not have it,

I did have a low b12 level, 209. But I take methyl b12 sub. 2 a day so my levle seems good right now. I just never experienced a flush before. When I did a search on it, it turns out its a good thing. Thats how your body gets toxins out of the body.
