Default Independence

Thanks to the Paraquad intervention on my behalf when no one else would help, because my condition does not fit in any box. My independence arrived last month, it is blue in colour and has 4 wheels all motion controlled by my chin, it is an Invacare Torque SP powered wheel chair.
I have nicknamed it the "Beast"
Even the chair itself tilts and it has an SD card to record data in case of malfunction. Have had it down the street and to soccer the park etc, , it is a bit of a challenge but I am getting there, It is making an incredible difference to my life.
Although my PN is still there, my MD had tried to reduce my B12 injections but it was not successfull so back to 2 weekly injections, but that is what my body needs so it is a small price to pay my muscles were becoming very weak and I was getting very tired again and my balance was all over the place.
But now I can now go places on my own, and my dear wife can have a break from me.
She has been taking my every where since my diagnosis that is almost 3 yrs now.

I am glad you are doing better and able to do more on your own. I hope it continues. It really makes you appreciate the small things in life when those get taken away. Take care.
