Well, after more than a year, my results were mixed.

I can't say in a young reproductive aged woman what the results would be, because I was postmenopausal.

But I think this supplement successfully lowers testosterone/androgens that are made in quantity by PCOS women. This only helped my blood sugar a bit. It was not a large effect. But it did stop all unwanted facial hair which is growing back now, since I stopped. One side effect of lower testosterone is less muscle strength and stamina, and I did feel that as a "weakness" because I am over 60. My stamina returned when I discontinued it and so did my chin hairs! LOL
The strength/stamina thing would be important for women doing jobs or athletics requiring strength.

This supplement is quite expensive still. But the PCOS forums and infertility forums do have women who like it. I decided to stop it because of cost. If it were less $$ I'd still keep on with it at a lower dose. I was using 60/month at $59. I wanted to switch to R-lipoic acid and theanine for my blood sugar issues, and these turned out to be more effective for me. So I just switched my cash outlay over to those supplements for now.

I would contact the Chiral Balance and ask about allergic potential to it. I have no idea if it would be a risk. There are two ways of manufacturing it. I do like Chiral Balance better, than the other one out there. Their website is more professional with contact information etc.

I don't know if buckwheat or carob interact with nut allergies/legumes.

Thank you, Mrs. D.

Anyone else have information to share? Should I start a new thread asking this question?

With this bumped up this thread is okay.

The average age coming here is a bit older than those
who visit the fertility forums.

The title of this thread is good for Google hits. We get many people from Google here.

So I don't think we need another thread yet.
