Default I have a friend who takes lots of stuff for body building

he takes the following:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/animalpak.html

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/liver.html
he takes up to 8 pills a day with meals, i found it interesting that this one with the massive amounts of amino acids listed all of them while the one below didn't list any specifics:

and this:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/nitro.html
and this(sorry i meant four)
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/animalomega.html

is there any dangers in taking any of these?

Lightbulb These are pretty typical of

Body building supplements.

When building lean muscle mass, amino acids are needed.

For example, this type of whey is also used for those lifting weights and building muscle:
http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=343&at=0

For a person in good health with normal kidney functions,
the items you put up are not dangerous.

His products have the wrong kind of magnesium in them (oxide).
So if he thinks he is getting any, he is not. Magnesium is needed to process the Omegas in his 3rd supplement.
Some body building powders have high amounts of magnesium oxide, and can cause diarrhea in some who use it.
But the first link is actually low.

Body builders also use more pyridoxine than others because pyridoxal is needed (and stored) in muscle. The more people use the muscles the more they need.

I don't think there are "massive" amounts of anything listed.
However, depending on how many servings are consumed a day, well, that would change my opinion. Also it depends on how much he weighs, and how much he works out.

Some body builders do very extreme things. Visit their forums if you really want to see some really horrifying behaviors!

Or ask my husband. He can tell you what all he has taken in the past. Freaky stuff.
