Meloxicam & Zyflamed
I have severe cervicogenic headaches, and neck pain due to stenosis and bulging discs in c-2 through c-7. Yes, it was probably football 40 years ago, and two car accidents. I have been taking 15 mg of meloxicam and 60 mg of baclofen for a month now, and they help considerably, but I am very concerned about side effects, and the well documented hazards of pharmaceuticals. I found Zyflamend, and everything about it seems to be wonderful, but I wonder, can I continue taking the meds, and Zyflamend at the same time? I tried getting off the meds today and taking Zyflamend, but the pain was too great, so I went back to the meds. Any suggestions out there? I would sincerely appreciate any feedback on this.

IMO the Zyflamend is no where near as potent as the meloxicam,
for infammation. Also you cannot really stop high dose Baclofen suddenly...but should taper it off if you choose to not use it anymore. You might also try a quality curcumin product also, as it is useful for inflammatory pain. (curcumin is not absorbed well, so you need an enhanced type like Curcugel 500 or the LongVida brand). There are some liposomal curcumins out there, but they tend to be expensive. |
I think the bigger question right now (and I can't tell this from your wording) is, how long have you been taking the Zyflamend, and is it helping at all?
If so, there are numerous drug interaction sites you can check to determine if there are any potential adverse reactions (you may have to check Z's ingredients separately—I don't know). Have you asked you doctor about this? Doc |
