Mrs D Thank you for the information about the light visor, i'll consider it if i ever move to Sweden or a place alike.

About d chiro inositol, i've been doing well with it and i certanly love it. my back, which was full of acne, is now very clear and almost free of spots. My periods are regular!! I also have many good days and few bad days with neuropathic pain. I will carefully observe all my symptoms so i can give you a wider view of the beneffits i have gotten from d chiro inositol. How are you doing with it Mrs D?

Mrs D, do you recomend i stop taking elavil?? I am afraid it can decrease my serotonin levels in the long term, in the wikipedia link you posted it says that even if the drug is discontinued... so should i stop taking elavil???

I am very afraid of its long term effects, is it a dangerous drug, i only take about 20mg a day. What do you think?

Could i replace it with a supplement, to get its effects?

What dose are you taking Monica?

Are you having blood done?

At the dose of Elavil you are taking, it is not dangerous. If it works for you, I'd keep it for a while longer.

I found I take 1-4 500 mg caplets daily and I don't really find that it's really that powerful as you had said it was for you mrsD. I started out lower, but I found I'm quite tolerate of the effects and am not sedated. although def more effective on an empty stomach, maybe it just takes a while for the serotonin levels to build up, (especially since I took an SSRI for awhile. it did work for a while the other day as I was in a good mood.

I have been using the Doctor's Best, Tryptopure powder, and it is working wonders for me. Not only does it decrease the fibro pain but it decreases the arthritic pain in my neck and shoulders as well. And it allows me to sleep, when nothing else will. But I am not on any anti-depressants. And I don't take it every night. I only take it when I am having a flare. I do get just slightly hungover in the morning, but not enough to bother me. This stuff is really great. It is much better than any medication I have tried to take. It also seems to relax the muscle spams that I tend to get at night. I don't know how it works, but it does. And I am grateful for it. I wish more people knew about it.
