Question multi-vitamin injection need to find

Hello All, My Doctor said with my IBS and inability to take most vitamins and meds by mouth to look for an injection which would go through the blood and not the bowel. Makes sense, but the only thing so far he can find is single shots of the B vitamins, dont really want to be a pin cushion. Anyone know where to look? Please advise.

i presume you dont qualify for TPN (total parental nutrition)?
a multivit preparation is made for IV administration, but doubt you will find an ins that will cover it, outside of the above mentioned TPN.....
have you considered gluten sensitivity?

Lightbulb some

holistic doctors give IVs called Myer's cocktails, or maybe now a newer name. They typically have glutathione added.

Here is an article about them:
http://www.gordonresearch.com/answer..._cocktail.html
This doctor happens to be in Arizona too.

The IVs are often made locally by a compounding pharmacy.
If you decide to do this, I'd investigate the supplier well. Some compounding pharmacies are very good, and others may be sloppy.

I am not endorsing this doctor, I am only using his site as an example.

Post I don't think...

I don't thinkTPN is the answer to this problem.

TPN is complex and involves a special IV hookup into the
subclavian vein. TPN stands for total parenteral nutrition and the bags are huge and contain fats, sugar, amino acids etc. as well as trace nutrients. TPN is the last resort when people cannot eat by mouth and stomach tubes fail. It is not ordered lightly.

The IV Myer's cocktails are smaller and easier to administer and usually done in the office. They can go in a vein in the arm.
