Along time ago (20 yrs) my doctor used to mention I was boarderling anemic. I was told that through out my life (now 43). Some doctor say yes others say slightlyb but none have ever told me to do anything about it. I recently had a CBC and the dr. looked at it and said " well your not anemic" He didn't run a feritin or any other test. My RBC 3.92 ref range 3.8-5.4 MCV 94 ref range 78-102 Mch 33.2 reg range 27-31 . THe MCH and Eosinophils 4.4 ref range 1.0-4.0 were the only thing out of range. I gues my question is when it comes to being anemic what is the best test to ask for?
I have or had a low b12. I was able to get the number up from 209 to 1419. I still have alot of the same symptoms. The tingling and foggy feeling are gone. One other thing. my anti parietal cell is pos. 26.6 ref ranage <20 |
