what the freak???? wow, i mean i figured itd be time-released for a week, like that other dude was taking it (jay1980) once a week. but id figure at least it was time released, geesh.

yes, this has been available for a while now.
The RX one given by doctors is D2. (ergocalciferol and less active)
The OTC one is D3 and immediately active.
Many doctors don't know the difference and think they are interchangeable.

It should be used like the RX one... one a week, one every other week, one a month, depending on the test results. Not one a day!

The safe upper limit now suggested for Vitamin D is 10,000 iu daily
This study was done on HEALTHY volunteers, so it is not 100% accurate IMO for others, who might be ill with a chronic problem.

People should have tests periodically if low to see if their levels have come up with what they are using.
