Default Question about GBG 10 in ONE

Hi All:

My husband loves to join these multi-level marketing programs.

He found one that sent him a bottle of GBG 10-in-ONE Liquid multi Formula.

It makes all these claims onthe bottle

you know what I mean, It's a multi-vitamin, it's good for cardiovasular, stress, anti-oxidants.

IT HAS SOMETHING CALLED AMALAKI FRUIT (the great rejuvenator)????

Never heard of this BUT THAT'S NOT WHY I'M WRITING.

He said to me "I can't use this, it has Sulfur and I'm allergic to Sulfur".

I said "You are allergic to Sulfa drugs and sulfites, and that is not what this thing has, and what do you mean it has Sulfur".?

He showed me the bottle and on the front it states:

"IT'S A BONE AND JOINT FORMULA with Sulfur Rich MSM"

I said "this has nothing to do what sulfa drugs, but let me run it by the people on the vitamin forum".

So can he take this Liquid Multi Vitamin, and better yet, CAN I TAKE IT?

I mean, it's got everything but the kitchen sink.

I don't take a multi. I take fish oil, chromium piconilate, my Methyl B-12, my Vitamin D, my magnesium, etc. But I don't take a multi.

Could I take a bit of this every day? And can my husband? And what about this Amalaki thing?? anyone ever heard of this?

Thanks much

Melody

Wink

The allergy to sulfA.... is independent from SULFUR.

Here is an explanation of SULFUR in our bodies:

I have looked up and down where all the stuff is listed. After listing all the vitamins, it lists the Fruit Phytonutrients, then the Herbal Energizer Liquid Extract, then the Trace Minerals (I mean this thing has EVERYTHING IN IT),it then lists age defying anti-oxidant blend....

then.

On the bottom it says:

Other ingredients......Citric Acid, Glycerin, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Potassium Benzoate & Sodium Benzoate to preserve freshness, Purified Water, Sorbitol, Stevia Extract (leaf), and finally Xantham Gum.

So is this good or does the Sorbitol poison everything? I mean, would YOU use this??

Red face

Depending on how much Sorbitol is in there...may be laxative or not. Sorbitol is used as a sweetener and a vehicle for other things. As a vehicle it might be more in quantity than as a sweetener.

I can't say from the ingredient list.
