Default blood tests, c-reactive protien, fibrinogne

so i got a few blood tests, C-reactive protein, that measures your risk of having a future cardiovascular event, and i got the fibrinogen. Surpringly My C-reactive protein was high at 3.40, the normal range being 1-3.

and my fibrinogen quantity was not too bad, being 309 and the normal range is usually 193-423. but the C-reactive protein, I'm definitely worried about, cuz im only 24 years old. and sometimes i have a hard time exercising, and get fatigued during the day especially if i had trouble sleeping the night before. i may go back for another sleep study, or just see a neurologist.

I am not that aware of this but looked it up and it was talking about inflamation in the body and conditions like arthritis causing it to be high. Then there can be a connection to issues like you stated and sometimes people are put on meds. Unless I am off track. What did your doctor say? Do you think some of your fatigue and getting tired from excercise is from the fibromyalgia? I did not know you were so young. I am 30 and I know how hard it is not to worry about the future with so many health conditions. I'm trying to stay present in the day and get through it in the healthiest way I can. Sending thoughts and I would ask the doc who did this test what direction you should take

I was just browsing new posts of the day and couldn't help but notice:
Quote:

Have you ever been screened for gluten sensitivity. It is a big subject, but you might want to do a little reading about it as your symptoms suggest it could be a possibility. You can check out the right bar of The Gluten File for topics by symptoms, but the main page offers some good overview articles. Just thought I'd mention it!

You are only a little out of range. That could reflect the testing process, so it has to be done a few times to see any trend.

The most useful supplement for increased C-reactive protein is Vitamin C.

Curcumin is also showing promise in blocking inflammatory changes in blood vessels:

There are two types of curcumin with increased absorption traits. Since curcumin is not well absorbed these alternatives are better. However, FOR YOU, since you take many drugs, it is problematic to use the one with Bioperine added (Doctor's Best). So that leaves this one:
Curcugel 500---

I don't recommend supplements with Bioperine for those folks taking alot of RX medications. This additive increases absorption of some drugs and will change blood levels and alter your response. I found it very difficult to find EXACT drugs affected, and I think this is because of the lack of research on it. With time that may change, since curcumin is going to become a standard nutrient to improve health more and more IMO.

I'd much rather take grape seed extract than curcumin. although both are relatively benign when compared to pine bark extract. I just think grape seed extract is more of a sure thing(resveratrol.) i think im gonna purchase jarrow grape seed extract, seems to be a good product. but anyways, I've read pretty bad stuff about pine bark extract, as in people getting stomach aches digestive upsets, etc etc.
