Arrow Roll Call Monday~9/18

Well I have been up for hours and nobody came in to start a new thread. I'll start again: Good Morning Friends, I do hope you are doing great today on your "D" & "E". By now you should know what that means.

I must get ready to go about 80 miles to the DR.'s I am scheduled to see. I dread the one. I just keep telling myself to say "NO" more surgery! I must go for now.

I hope the day is a good one for you all.If not, Change it with music and exercise. It is raining here.See You later.
God Bless,
Billie

Morning Billie and all to follow~
Great teeth btw! Thanks for starting roll call! If you didn't, I'm sure someone would sometime during the day. Whatever happens, we go with the flow.

I hope getting your stitches out goes smoothly for you and things start turning around for you! Let's hope anyway!!

Things are busy as usual here. Hailey and I are getting ready to go to daycare before I go out of town for the day. I'll be back tomorrow sometime.

It sure is COLD here! It was in teh 40's last night! Brrrr! That's Minnesota I guess!

I hope everyone has a SUPER day! Don't forget to do the "E" thinggy!!!
Hugs,
LS

Good morning all,
I am slowly waking up and have lots of housework to do and plan on cooking tonight for a change so that may end up bing my exercise
My son is getting married on sunday so this month has been very busy...and I still have the rehersal on thursday to attend....I get to practice sitting down I was tp;d and in 6 days I get my life back! If my baby boy even mentions marriage I will beat him with my broom!!Still no gain and maybe even a loss but its due to the spinal fusion in june that left me with no hunger at all and I have to make myself eat!
I plan to begin going back to the gym and try some pool walking since that is all I feel safe with since I have had 9 falls since surgery and out of all 3 of my docs, no Xrays. sigh.
It is very hot here still....can't imagine a cold night in the 40's, but it sure sounds good!
Have a good day!

Good morning, started off with 2 boiled eggs and plan on either shrimp or tuna 3oz for lunch. My lo-carb plan takes away the hunger and weight comes off nicely, usually. Going to go buy myself a plant today too. I need a nice new plant to grow. Maybe it will grow while I shrink! LOL GC

Good morning all, another beautiful day in the neighborhood here. The landscapers are out back transforming my yard so I am very happy about that. Kids are in school, hubby is at work so it is just me and the dogs--how peaceful .

So I will be having special K cereal today. The vanilla nut one is very good and good for ya. Gaye I think i will join you for lunch and have some tuna myself. Give me some ideas about low carb meals OK? I love carbs though so it might be a challenge but I will think about you throwing cookies out your window and give it a shot

Billie--I hope that your stitches come out easy. Let us know what the doc says about your hernia. I know more surgery is the last thing you want but if it will help well...you got to weigh it from both sides.

To everyone else and to those that follow I hope your day is a light one and if anyone has any good ideas about healthy snacks please share with me...Sue

Default The greatest of days to all!!

Hi everyone! OK, OK......make me feel sooooo guilty why don't ya! I have had a tuna or muffin and tomato sandwich all week last week. So does that count for eating those two chocolate thingy's just now?? I mean really? Here I am just reading away and all of a sudden I'm thinking......you are in so much trouble girl!!!! OOPS! I apologize but Mother Hubbard lives here til I go the dreaded trip to the grocery store and the chocolate was on Jamie's night stand....lol! He bought enough junk last week to sink a battle ship and I have done so well.

I hope it cools down here before long Jan. Its so hot I don't even want to walk. And it has rained so much our yard is a mud pit!! So here I sit. Unless I want to wade out of here in my rubber boots! I did get out and trim a few limbs the other day and regretted it all weekend. My shoulders and back yelled at me! But as soon as fall comes and the evenings get nice and skeeter free I will get back to my walking. I promise girls! I mean it! I feel really lazy not walking but it really is a mud pit to get out to the hard top road so I can go walk. So enjoy being able to say its cold Jan! I can't wait to say it!

Billie honey, I am sorry I have been so lax in my emails. I just don't get on here like I did. My back goes to bothering me so I try to avoid long sits at the computer anymore. But know I do think of you and I hope your day goes well today. Take care.

Sheryl

Default Hi All,

Billie, Thanks again for starting Roll Call. I'm awake a lot in the night but when I'm in pain, I can't even think so my message would be nothing but nothing.

Everyone - You all sound so pumped up and ready to go. Can you send some of that energy to me??? Once I finish with a few things around the house, I'm tired and hurting. If I push myself too hard, the PN starts going crazy and a person can feel he heat coming through. I may go swimming, I'll letyou know.

Just a thought from me on another subject. How can we get more members?
I thought about having a fun question of the week. Everyone answers the same question but it will give us tiny looks into each of our personalities. Comments????

Love,
nancy-h

I did it...I did it...I bought myself 5 plants to play with and I feel sooooooo much better already. I even got 4 of them on sale very reasonable.

Took myself out for lunch and had a Wendy's grilled chicken with NO bread or anything. I love their chicken. Was going to eat boiled shrimp 4oz or 3oz tuna, instead, I thought lunch out, while buying plants would be fun. GC

Default Evening all

Hi ladies as usual I'm the Cow's Tail. HAHA!! I went to the Medical Clinic and had a Bone density test, Wed. appointment with the GI doc for a colonoscopy screeing (yuk) dread that one but it is a necessity as my Grandmother and father died of colon cancer, then on Thurs Mammogram. Also next week an appointment with the Primary care doc.

I went to the Neuro last week and he has put me on the Duragesic patch 50 mg. so far so good. I know narcotics are a no no on many peoples lists but after suffering 8 years with this horrible pain he kicked my treatment up a notch. I change the patch every 3 days and its been like a daydream to have no pain for the last week. I thought I'd get a lot done but so far my friends and family have kept me hopping. I'm hoping next week I can do a few things around the house and get started on some long needed spring cleaning with the help of a house keeper hopefully. I'm looking for a nice lady to come in every other week to help me.

Went out with my best friend in the whole world Fri and did lunch and a little shopping. Saturday I helped my younger sister do a wedding shower for her son's fiance. They are getting married in October. I made cheese balls and pimento cheese sandwishes. I don't want to get into what all I ate at the party but on Weight Watchers I've dropped 10 lbs. in 2 months but have overall lost over down to 207 from 245 which is good but want to get down past 200 lbs.

Hope you ladies have had a great day. Gaye sounds like you have got a garden going on with all those plants

Hi Nance and Jan sounds like you girls have been busy bees also. I've not had much computer time lately as you can see from above I've been gone a lot but will drop in when I can.

((((HUGS))))) Lynn
