Exclamation Hi I'm Wendy and I'm overweight....

Hi all! I know I kept saying I would come back but after a conversation my husband and I had last night I figured now would be a good time to come back for good! In a way it feels good to be home.
Todd is very worried about my health now and wants me to loose the weight for those reasons and not for the asthetic reasons he used to anymore. He said something to me last night that really hit home. He said, "I don't see the face of my baby anymore." And its true....I have become unrecognizible from even my drivers license picture taken not too long ago. Yesterday I got my handicapped parking placard and it had my license picture on it and I was looking at a face I don't see in the mirror anymore. So combine this with the comment last night from Todd....here I am back with my supportive friends.
I need your help and guidance again ladies (and gents if you are here). I hope that this time it sticks!

(((((((Wendy)))))))).

You can do this, hon'. A structured program to help you track what you eat and how much is the best way to go. I joined Weight Watchers almost a year and a half ago, and it's working wonderfully! I'm down about 90 lbs (minus this week ). This past week was very difficult, as my appetite was insatiable, but it's proving to be hormonal, so now that that's passing, I should be back on track without any serious problems.

Hang in, and good luck!

Thumbs up Hi Wendy~

We have known each a long time on BT. I did loose 33 pounds some time ago after my husband died. I am now up five pounds and I can't seem to loose it. I am always hungry and ready to eat. I keep saying I'll commit and then I don't.

Have you still got your Tortoise's? I can't see one without thinking of you. Are you still baby sitting also?

It's good to have you back!

Nope not babysitting anymore. The kid's dad finally got out of jail. Oh he is another story all together. Phew!
As for the tortoises Billie, I went to Petco today to pick up heat lights for them and saw the cutest little red-foot tortoise all alone in a display tank. It was so cute and very responsive to have someone pay attention. It is still a baby and its little tail was hiding so I am not sure if it is a boy or girl yet. I told Todd about it when I got home and tomorrow we are going back to have him look at it and probably buy it. I will post pictures of the little one when I get a chance! How is your little doggie and the kitties?
The baby looks a little like this one but with a cherry tomato color to it's head

Thumbs up Wendy~

My dog attacked a Lab Jan. 2 , and the Lab in defence, took his pall up and tore off 1/3 of my dogs ear. He sure let me know, so off to the vet we went. He is ok now but it did bleed a lot. My cats, well I brought two of them to town with me and they are fine. The other 5 are still at the farm. The couple that bought the place are giving two of them to a good home and I expect they will keep the rest. They won't be moving in till school is out, so I may have to go and feed them a lot. I planned to leave 40 pounds of food there so they would keep them. All have long hair but one. They are beautiful right now.

I hope you get the baby and if you do, keep us posted. Your story is very interesting.
