Hi Billie, it is very very cold here also. I looked at my thermometer outside my back door this morning at 7 and it was about 24 degrees. Now for us that is cold. I worry about all the homeless in our town and how they are doing. We have a large population of homeless here I think because of the gambling that goes on. I know many who have lost a great deal thinking the next roll was going to get them caught up.

Anyway, I loved seeing your picture of Bear. What a cutie. I will try to put a pic of my dogs up. Also how does Bear like traveling in your new SUV? He probably loves all the room. I know my dogs love to go for a ride with me.

Not much else going on, just another day of the same ole, same ole. I will add though that I have not had sweets at all since the new year. I have not bought any donuts or rolls and my only treat is a fat free italian ice cup that I have every 2-3 days when I am feeling like I NEED a treat . ...Sue

Heart New baby in the house~

I would like to introduce you to my newest doll. We just love her. Bear is so excited too! Gaye sent her to me and I named her Grace.

Bear just loves the SUV, Sue. He doesn't run all over tho. He just sits up like a person and behaves.

awwww...they look so cute together.

i'm here.

housework and still trying to fix the clubs computer. i have gotten some headway. not sure f it can be salvaged, but i want to atleast get important info off of it.

spaghettie last night for dinner. made a homemade marinara suace. cooked it in the crock pot all day. no meat...no fat. lots of veggies. it was really good. used a whole wheat pasta. lots of salad.

i didn';t start my day off right though..no breakfast. that is not good. it really has been helping. i'm not a big morning eater. but your body needs the fuel. so tomorrow...i promise myself...breakfast..something small.

i love all your pics billie.

stay warm sue. the breads can be a killer huh? the italoan ice is a fave of mine. fruit also helps with the sweet cravings. even a little thing like a tic tac can help. not as much fun, but it helps.

Heart Some sad moments~

Gals~ I have so many mixed emotions today. It is my husbands birthday. I'm sooo sad one minute, then happy the next. My cousin is coming for a visit tomorrow and we are going out to eat. I haven't seen her since October. Our husbands both died of cancer. Her's passed 2 years eariler than mine.

Then get the beautiful doll today. I've never had one, this nice before. I have cabbage patch ones and they are ugly cute. Grace is so sweet and hugable. Real like a baby, cute. Gaye just up and sent her to me and she collects dolls. I can't imagine why she would just give her to me. I have don't nothing to deserve her. That's why I named her Grace. I did like her from I picture of Gaye's dolls, but I had no idea she would look so life like.

Did I tell you, I don't think so? Gaye is flying up to see me in June. I am very excited about that. Our town has a Festival we are going to. People from all around come to it. It is a Pottery Festival. There are all kinds of yard sales everywhere. I live in town now, so we can go to everything or come back and rest. I plan on us having a good time.

Thanks Billie for the pic of Bear....I always thought he was a cutie. Here is a new picture of my new tortoise Mattie. She is becoming a very attentive little girl now that she is become acclimated to us and our voices.

Curious~ You are so right about Gaye & my husband. My husband even died on Gayes birthday last year. Gaye has spoke to him on the phone. Gaye is a wonderful person with a big HEART. We even met online maybe a couple of years ago. We have spent many hours getting to know each other. Their are some great people online. I love all of you. You have really been there when I needed a friend. No Curious, I don't think Gaye is bringing Zoe with her, but she is welcome to, if she wants. My Bear is a little jealous of Grace. I hug her a lot and Bear gives me one of those stair's.I don't trust him right now so Grace is with me here at the PC. I don't think Gaye knows how to post pic's on here, so I posted Zoe for her. I did tell her, she will learn photo bucket while being here in person. I'll post her picture at the end of this. She is "froglady".

Wendy~Your Mattie is very cute! From time to time, why don't you post all your tortoise's & say some about them.

Oh gee Billie, how nice of you to post my little Zoe and my pic too, and thanks for the kind words. Jan tried to tell me how to work photobucket but I am too too dumb to do it!

Yes folks Billie and I are Sisters for real now! I am so excited about visiting her and meeting in person...can't wait to actually get to hug my SIS and talk, talk, talk, talk, for hours. Looking forward to getting to know Bear too!

I really liked her Bob, when we met on the phone....he sounded so nice and was so friendly and upbeat. He called me "Gaye from Georgia"! I was praying for Billie and Bob the day he left here, for his heavenly home. My heart still hurts for Billie.

Curious little Zoe has to stay home with my hubby and her parrot Paulie. Paulie thinks she is part of his flock! Don't know how hubby will handle the two of them, cause I am a stay at home " grandma, great-grandma, and keeper of the flock!
I missed a frog oh no, I missed a frog? ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Sue, how do you do it....you are doing greatttttttttttttt to be able to leave the sweets alone. You go girl!

Wendy your Mattie is pretty. I have always thought it would be so much fun to have a pet like you have. I wanted a little frog in an aquarium(spell) but so far haven't gotten one of those yet either.
