Arrow Good Book -The Ultimate Metabolism Diet

Has some quizzes to take to find out your metabolic type and specific suggestions for each type.

Carbohydrate Sensitivity

Metabolic Syndrome

Hormonal Imbalances

Food Hypersensitivities

Weight Gain with Chronic Illness and Impaired Liver Detoxification

Dealing Effectively with Emotional Eating

*********************************************
I just got started reading it {library book} but a few of the types fit for me .
It says to address metabolic syndrome first if that is a type for you, and it is for me , so I'll be working on that first.

*the book is by Scott Rigden, MD {specializing in bariatrics & nutritional approaches for chronic illness}*

Lightbulb

Sounds good!

There is another like this already out there:

http://obesitysanswer.com/

This is where I found the inositol suggestion, which I follow now.
(not the d-Chiro type, but the regular. I found the chiro myself).

Default a new book out

[Perfect 10 Diet
is the breakthrough diet that doesn’t rely on trying to trick your body. This is real-world weight loss that balances your body’s natural hormones to do the work for you.]

http://www.perfect10diet.com/10-horm...-hormones.html

Kind of goes along the same lines as the other books listed here, getting hormones & system balanced, and weight/health will follow.

The page I linked to has a chart that shows how some of the other popular diets can unbalance your hormones & system.

This one sounds like more my style and I get to have butter
{margarine is evil!!} But I've known that for a long time. processed/ chemicals - how could it be good for us?

But I will have to kick the coffee with 2 spoons of sugar & half n half

If the weather improves around here so my garden can get growing better - I'll have plenty of fresh & organic home grown produce then.
