Morning all!
Went to my FM doc yesterday. He said that walking 3-4 times a week for 30 mins at a time is good enough for people with FM along with streching. Anybody have a recommendation for a good and gentle streching DVD???
So I figure if I walk 15 mins 6 times a week it will equal the same amount to start off.
Well it finally snowed up here last night unfortunately the low barometric pressure system that came along with it gave me a massive migraine. I have been dealing with it since yesterday afternoon. Its been lovely. I can't wait for it to be over. I see a diet coke and ibuprofen binge coming on.
Its off to get ready to go to Walmart to pick up some meds. See you all later.

Heart Hi Wendy~

If your migraine's are anything like mine, they will leave you in a couple days. I was so bad I couldn't even take pillls, I would just throw up the second they hit my stomach. I usually got a shot and I would even throw up on the way home, even though it was suppose to keep me from that. it would after a while. My mom kept telling me someday I would grow out of them, & I did. Praise the Lord. There for awhile, I didn't know if I could stand it. I can feel for you Wendy.
I hope everybody is in great shape today. I feel good.
I got my hair done and I look better. Now I am off to Walmart. Will talk later.

im sorry about the migraine wendy. i get funky weird sx before i get one. rx's are too strong. like you billie...just make me more nauseated and lose them anyways. but ican take an excedrine migraine and it will help it go away faster. the supplements i take sem to be helping me not have the migraines like i used to.

i found a new hair style i want. i'm going to wait a few weeks. let my hair grow a bit more.

have a wonderful healthy day. don't be hard on yourself. one step at a time.

oh...wendy...i'll take a look at the exercise videos i have. i have a ton. we used to have a big screen tv set up in the aerobic room, so members could use it when they wasn't a class. i know 2 fave's for easy workouts and stretching were Yoga for Dummies and Debbie Reynolds workout video.

Default Arghhhhhhhh

I HATE COMPUTER PROBLEMS! Also, I have to admit that I'm addicted to the internet. It's unbelievable how many times I thought of going online to find something and could not because our little high speed box thingy was broken. So we had to wait for a replacement from our phone company who also handles our town's internet.

Hey curious, I read your post and got a little confused by: " i get funky weird sx " before your migraines. Did you forget a letter in the "sx"? Tee hee. Sorry, my mind is in the gutter I guess. On the serious side, I am sorry that so many of you suffer with migraines. I've only had one in my life and never want to relive that pain. Wendy - hope you can kick this one soon.

Curious - what kind of hair style do you like? I say "Go for It" - hair can always grow back. I should know, I've taken my chances over the years. I cut mine shorter
about 6 months ago and really like it. A weird thing happened to me about 2 years ago. My hair had been shoulder length for a few years and I cut it off. My friend and stylist was shocked to see the back of my head full of curls. I've always had straight hair and still do in the front, but all of a sudden my hair is curly in the back - I don't know how that happens!

HAVE A GOOD WEEK-END ALL !!!
