Alffe, can you eat any fruit on your diet? I love grapefruit, canteloupe and watermelon. Are those high in carbs?

I miss fruit. 1 watermelon slice (1 1/2" by 6") has 38.4 grams. That's more than half my total of 60 a day.
1/2 grapefruit is 22.2 grams ~sigh The best one is cantalope 1/2 only has 8.3 grams The problem is I can't get a good one this time of year in Northern Indiana When I lose twenty more pounds I'm going on a fruit binge!

I lost one pound! That makes 22 gone..my goal is to lose 18 more and take a look at myself. *grin The problem is wrinkles...didn't know they were there before.
Just found out that Bizi is without her computer. Dinner last night was 1 slice meat loaf, mashed cauliflower (yummy) and carrots cooked in beef broth.

Congratulations, Alffe! Isn't it nice to see that number on the scale get smaller and smaller? I'd like to lose about 20 more and I'll be satisfied. I gained so much of mine from the meds I took for a while (Gabapentin is the worst).
I love Cauliflower. I buy it raw and steam it. YUM! Makes the house stink but oh well.

Not fair to have to take medicine that packs on the pounds! It's so easy to gain weight and such a battle to lose it.
I love cauliflower too...and I don't care what the kitchen smells like.. I steam it in the micro and then throw it in the foodprocessor with a little milk, sour cream and butter. Salt, pepper...and I think I'm eating mashed potatoes. Comfort food...~sigh

How's everybody doing?
I'm still plugging along. Have done really good sticking to my eating plan. I haven't really been very hungry the past few days which is nice. I'm trying not to eat after 6 PM and that's been going pretty well. Last night I ate a bowl of Raisin Bran with fat free milk & a packet of Splenda at about 5:30 PM and that was the last thing I ate. Evening eating has never been my problem. Afternoon eating was my downfall. I think I've conquered that. I almost got on the scales this morning....just out of habit....but I stopped myself before I did. My weight fluctuates so much throughout the week. Once a week is good for me. Ya'll have a good week! Bizi, I hope you get your computer working soon!
