Unless my scale is lying its @$$ off, I will have a prominent gain this week. Not sure why, since I thought I had done okay this week, but it might have something to do with last weekend's playoff eats. Grr...
LIZARD, who will find out in about an hour... |

Thanks, hon'!
It wasn't so bad--just one lb. That means my scale is more screwed up than I thought! It'll be gone next week! LIZARD |

DOWN WITH THE BAD SCALE! HIT THE THING WITH A HAMMER FOR WORRYING YOU SO MUCH! Whoops, excuse my shouting. I hate scales that lie.
So very glad it was only one pound Lizzard, you top our good loser list! |

I just bought the scale, and I'll keep it, especially since it's better than my last one. I just re-read what I wrote, and it does sound like I'm chuckin' the scale. I'm chuckin' the gained weight--and then some, I hope! I am definitely gonna make that 100 lost before I see my mom (probably June), but some additional lost wouldn't be a bad thing.
Thanks, hon'! Da Shrinkin' LIZARD |

Ok Lizard, this is what I think. Be it 98 or 100 lbs., you have achieved something most people could never, ever do. What kind of super willpower do you have? I've lost maybe 9 lbs. this month and I'm freaking out already. I know I could never do 10X that. So pick out an outfit that looks great on you at approx a 95 lb. loss and one that's smaller and requires approx. 100 pounds loss. Let your clothing be your guide. You can still use the scale if you want to but your Mom is not going to know 99 lbs. from 100. She is just going to see her beautiful daughter. (End of lecture - sorry - always wanted to be a teacher.)

I feel the same way Nancy. If I have to watch every pound when I am near a 100 pound loss, well I don't see how you can enjoy life anymore. When that is all you can think about, then it has taken over your life. Relax Lizzard, you have already achieved more than most of us ever will.
Be proud of yourself and have fun. Your mother won't notice a pound or two anyway. I want to congraduate you. I don't think I will ever lose that much and I really don't care. My skin isn't made of elastic and wouldn't look that good anyway if I did lose an extreme amount. You may get away with it, but we all aren't that young. My cousin is smaller than me and she is full of wrinkles and we are only a year apart in age. May God bless you lizzard for what you have already accomplished. ___ BC |

I had also misplaced my food journal and was horribly lazy about keeping track online, so that was part of it, too. I feel horribly nekkid without my journal! It's like not having a seatbelt in the car! (Yep, I'm one of those, too! I won't even leave a parking lot without buckling up.) Did you get the Starter Pack? There's a 3-month journal included. It helps so much!! I think you'd be amazed at how easy this is once you get the hang of it. Good luck, and LIZARD P.S. 9 lbs in a month is outstanding!!!!!!!! YAY for you!!!!!!! |
