Anoher cold day, just 7 above zero. It is suppose to warm up this week. I hope so. LOL I am fixing dinner and wanted to come in so I can say I am present today. I got to get ready for church. Have a great day!

Hi Bizi and Billie,
I'm barely here. A freind of mine keeps calling me early in the morning and waking me up before I've had enough sleep. Once I get up I can't go back to sleep either. I've told her not to call me in the morning but she doesn't listen. befuddled2 |

hey befuddled you could try turning your phone off or just choose not to answer it...phones are just an opportunity for communication or not!
I made it to the gym finally! Bizi who is starting her new diet tommorrow cause I weighed myself today....

I want to show you a picture of Gaye visiting the nursing home and passing out dolls to the residents. This lady is 101 years old. Sorry the pic maybe a little dark because my printer is running out of ink. befuddled2 does this too! My heart goes out to you two.

Hi befuddled2, I came out today cause I have been on my plan
Now if I can just make it tomorrow. I think I can...I think I can.I am glad to know you like to visit nursing homes too. Isn't it wonderful. I like to find dolls or stuffed animals and wash them up and passem out. The doll that has on a crocheted(spell?) dress in the pic was handmade(not by me) along with 2 others. I put my phone on with the ringer off. Then I forget I did it! LOL Ha, Billie I got you fooled. I wish I was a saint...ask hubby, he will say "no way"!  Bizi, hope your new "d" is a big success tomorrow! Don't like the diet word, cause first 3 letters spell die, last 3 spell iet as in "I et"...in southern language "et" means ate!. Can ya tell I'm a Georgia redneck?

WE went out for dinner at a texas road house...Wonderful meal, steak and ribs...sweet potato and salad...yummy!
then came home and spoke with my girl friend who remeinded me that I can't start my diet tomorrow cause it is mardi gras!!!! DUH!!!  So I start my diet on Wednesday like most other good folks here in the south ...and are catholic, I am not but you know what I mean. Do other religions recognize lent? I think the community is 80% catholic here. Wednesday it is. I love the photo the woman looks as snug as a bug in a rug.... bizi i usually go to nursing homes and get really upset about their care or lack there of......I should go and visit just to visit sometime...great idea! How do you pick out the residents to go visit and bring dolls to? bizi

Hi Gaye, I sent my friend in the nursing home a Valentine's card last week and told her I had a nice visit with her a few days earlier. It is very rewarding.
Bizi, I called the activity director and asked for a list of people who have no visitors and gave them gifts at Christmas. That's when I met the lady I like so well. She's a sweet heart. befuddled2 |
