befuddled2, you make me hungry! I am eating an apple, but I buy chips and eat them coming home from the store. I am washing clothes. I'm so glad I don't have to go out and do that job. I wash at the most ungodly hours. Usully at bedtime. I think I will call Gaye and see what she is up too. OH, I did plant tomatoes seeds tonight. I am expecting a big crop. I just love to garden. Can't hardly wait to get in the flower beds.

Befuddled, the reason I didn't wash the comforter is not that they didn't have the big machines, they do, it is just I am having a small FM flare and my shoulders couldn't take hefting that large thing. By the way, the bed is very comfy now. I think Todd likes the new bed stuff too, he's in the bedroom sleeping comfortably away AKA breathing heavy and semi-snoring.
Nancy.....I overdo'd it too yesterday. Which is why I am up now. I am waiting for my muscle relaxant to kick in so the muscles in my left shoulder will relax and I can get back to bed. Billie, tell Gaye and Paulie (can't forget him now can I?) I said hello and I hope that she gets back online very soon. Tell Bear I said hello too! My little brood of tortoises is doing fine. Our new one Mattie is just as silly as our other ones and she hasn't been exposed to them yet! She lives in a tank all on her own for now because she is just a little baby and the others are too big for her to be in the same tank with. Here is a picture of her climbing the walls of her tank for no reason I can fathom. Well, that is all for now. See you all later!

I went and feed my farm cats and it is cold out there. Only 19 degrees and feels colder. I did talk to Gaye last night. She still has her chest spasms, but she can stand it. They still don't have there internet turned on, Maybe Tuesday she said. They have to install bigger cable first. She said to tell everyone HI, and that she would come in as soon as she can.
Wendy, littie Mattie is a cute as ever! Do you ever raise littles ones? Well I better get ready for church. ____ BC |

The closest we come to raising little ones are the babies we buy from pet stores. Mattie is the smallest red-footed tortoise we have gotten and we have a sulcata tortoise that we have raised from when it was slightly bigger than a silver dollar. She's now bigger than a couple of other tortoises we have now. Our older tortoises who are old enough to have babies need males to have them. We have mostly girls in our brood and one boy. He gives it the ol' college try but the girl of the same breed wants nothing to do with him yet. I guess he just isn't mature enough for her yet....or sexy!

Hi Wendy,
Mattie looks really cool. Do tortosis need to be raised in warm weather? I remember the San Diego Zoo having them but none here in VA. befuddled2 |
