Heart Wonderful Wednesday~

Good Morning to All ~ It's suppose to be a little warmer today. I woke up with a bad sore throat. I am suppose to go out to a nice restaurant tonight or tomorrow night. Guess I will wait and see if I get better after while. I have to pick up my cousin, if we go.

My biggest problem is I want to go without a coat and it really isn't warm enough yet. I know thats how I got this sore throat. Hows the rest of you doing, when It comes to your health? Bizi are you still scratching? Wendy, I hope you are feeling better. Befuddled2, I know you were tired too. Sue don't over do yourself. We gotta take care of ourselves to keep the "D" going. Gaye stay strong, since you are determine to go threw with giving Paulie back. Its going to take all the strength you got. I'll pray for you.
Will come back in later. I need to write my son.

Well I am doing a tad better today Billie, thanks for asking. I finally caught a hint that my period has decided to make an appearance. So I am relieved about that. At least all the discomfort the last 4 days wasn't for naught.
Gaye how are you doing today?
Bizi, how is the poison ivy? Is it better?
BF, are you feeling any better?
Today is a trigger point shot day. They made me switch my appt to 12:15! I hate that. It was for 9:30. I like early morning appts because that is when I am at my best and I am not so darn tired. In a way its a good thing I have some errands to do today and I am better off doing them while my shoulder and back aren't in agony.
The last couple of days I have been waking up with anxiety attacks but I am not sure why. Todd thinks it may have to do with med changes and my period. Greaaaat! Another thing to look forward to every month.
Well that is it for me today. I am off to get ready for grocery shopping and picking up Todd's med.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all, it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I think I will wash my truck today. I am looking forward to warm weather so I can get in the pool and exercise.

I treated my daughter and I to dinner out yesterday. We went to a mexican restaurant which I know is not low cal at all. It was so good and we like to have our mom/daughter time together. So today I am eating lots of green good for you food. Fruits and veggies are looking so nice at the stores now. I am also going to start my veggie garden today. I am planting tomatoes, onions, and squash so wish me luck.

Well everyone feel better and get moving--that was mainly to me ha ha ...Sue

Thumbs down Not so wonderful to me...:(

We're getting spring this weekend, and it's been in the teens with wind chills below zero, so my brain has been really cranky in the form of simple partial seizures. YUCK. I am much better now--almost completely recovered--but man, they kick my @$$. They occur in the region with the hypothalamus, so they kill my appetite (a bad thing, actually; I need my points!) and give me nasty fevers.

Please don't worry about me, though. This is normal--twisted, but normal!--for me. I have always had them. It's like a period, just part of life, but not quite as often, thank God.

Anywho, I should be all better by tomorrow, and maybe even tonight. I'm already much better now.

Default Good Afternoon All . . .

Today is kind of overcast here but yesterday was pure heaven. 80 degrees and mostly sunny, very small breeze. I was in such a good mood I ate way too much and now have to make up for it the rest of the week.

It is hubby's 60th birthday today (I am MUCH younger if you count 7 years as "much" ha ha) and all he wanted was to eat a HUGE steak. So that's his dinner plus some veggies and, of course, a fat-free, sugar-free pudding - butterscotch. When we were younger and "hungry for things other than food", he asked for different things for his birthday. (I'll never tell if he received those "gifts", a lady never tells. Tee hee hee) Since I'm short of cash, this year he gets his garage organized and that, my friends, is a very, very special present since it is a mess.

Tomorrow morning I get my hair touched up - the grey roots are starting to show again. I have to go about every six weeks now but I enjoy the company of the girls there and it gives me a chance to catch up on the town gossip.

Hope you all have a good evening. If you are like me, the evenings are the time that the stomach must have goodies and it is hard to fight the urge to eat everything in sight!

Take care,
Nancy

Well, after driving 30 minutes to my pain docs office for my appt, I found out he wasn't there! And the guy who was filling in for him causes me more pain than when I go in the office. On top of that he was running 1 hour behind! So after sitting for about 20 minutes, I decided to reschedule my appt for next Wednesday. Sigh! So since Todd's office is just down the road I decided to drop by and say hello. I have never been to his office before so I thought it would be a nice surprise. I guess at first he thought somethng was wrong, but realized I just wanted to visit. I was there for about 30 minutes and went home. I met all his co-workers and they finally met me.
It was nice to talk to people for a little while. He showed me around and seems like a great place to work. Made me wish I was working again a little.

Thumbs up I had a good time tonight~

I took my cousin out for supper and spent $50.00. Was it ever delicious tho. Had a 12 oz. ribeye steak, baked potato, salad and apple cobbler, with pecans, hot carmal sauce, & ice cream and tea. We really had fun for a change. We both lost our husbands to cancer, so we have a lot in common. We went to my favorite store, plus another store and never did get to look around like we wanted to. We are going back in two weeks. I got a doll and a angel. This doll is so special. I just got to take a pic and show Gaye. It is good to get out once and awhile even if we did have a lot of calories. One thing for sure, I won't be snacking tonight. My stomach is tight!. LOL

So glad you had a good night out Billie. It is fun when we can get out and laugh with a friend.

I planted my onions, squash and some sunflowers today. The weather is so nice outside. I think I am going to get hubby to help build a raised garden for my tomatoes. I will bribe him with fried green tomatos--maybe that will do it

I also swept out the gazebo and uncovered the treadmill, couldn't find an extension cord to see if it works or not, plus I kept getting side tracked and forgot what I was looking for. My hands are zinging and numb now so I had to stop till tomorrow.

Hubby is working very late tonight as a big convention show opens tomorrow. He probably won't be home till the middle of the night. So that means I don't have to cook I think I will have a salad to counteract the chili rellano I had yesterday. See ya on the flip side...Sue
