Heart Glorious Weekend~

Good morning to all~So far hows everything going? I haven't done a thing. No reason, just slow getting started. I am having company tomorrow, so I need to plan on what I am going to cook.

I can't think this morning, so someone else start a subject to to talk on. I should weigh, before I get started. I got a feeling its the same. Have a good Day!

Default Weather and such

Hello all,

Oh my but it is beautiful here and even got hot, hot a couple of days ago and will hit 90 again tomorrow. Then next week we go back to our normal March weather - low 70's. I would love a garden but don't have the space nor the feet to support it!! Yesterday my husband bought our first cactus to plant outside. I felt like a real Nevadan then. Even though we have been here 3 yrs. this month, we've both had health issues that needed to be resolved for the first 2 so hubby is busy making our tiny yard into something special. A fountain of some sort arrived the other day. I try to stay away and help when asked. I've never been an outside person.

My pain flair of the past 5 days is starting to go away - yeah!!!! Maybe I can enjoy the St. Patty's Day dinner hubby is preparing.

Have a good week-end everyone. I wish you all the best.

Love,
Nancy

Arrow Oh Nancy~

I have been outside trying to finish painting a cement angel, Bear fusted till I quit. It is only 37 degrees here. He don't like it out there in the cold. I don't either, but hows a person to get anything done, if they wait till warm weather. Usually it just gets HOT all of a sudden.

I don't think I would like your Springs or Summers. It does get to hot also. I love to be outside. The house closes in on me.

Hi Billie, Alffe, and Nancy.

Billie, thanks for getting us started as usual. Enjoy your company tomorrow.

Alffe, what are you going to plant?

Nancy, I'm glad to hear that your pain is not bad.

I went grocery shopping thinking in line of sticking to a diet.

Grin Got some pic's from Gaye today~

Only showing you one though. Gaye has a new perm now and don't she look sweet? She tells me her face is always broke out. Well, I have seen this pic great BIG, and she doesn't have even one bump. Then she told me she was putting socks on her doll's! Gaye, these have NO socks. I nearlly froze looking at them, but they are cute too! She has very pretty dolls and has been collecting for a long time. I'll say one thing, she will share them too! I'm a little stingy about that yet. I need prayer.

Hi Befuddled, I have to start from scratch...we had a new septic system put in last fall...they ripped out all my flower beds (31 years of planting perennials) and it rainned so that the ground was too saturated to spread the piles of dirt around. So.......as soon as they can get back in with the machine and level it all, I can plant grass seed and begin anew with my flower beds.

I did move my most treasured plants (from my Dads yard, and my mother in laws yard) into the barnyard because they are irreplacable to us.

Looking out my kitchen window...is a sea of mud puddles which the birds are enjoying.

Now aren't you glad you asked! *grin

Alffe, yikes, it sounds like you have your work cut out for you. I hope to plant impatients in about a month. I am having trouble though getting up all the weed like glover in my tiny patch of a yard. I just want a strip of yard to plant the impatients.

Gaye, that is a very nice picture of you. You have a nice collection of dolls.

billie, thank you for posting that picture.
