Default Just tell me exactly what to eat and drink

Okay, my typing may not be correctly nice but this is all I want to know. (and I know diet alone will drop weight and get you cut, look at Tim Ferriss for example, he is just too vague).

I need to know this.
What exactly to eat at what time

I need to have this
It has to be simple to do and to obtain.

I need to also know what to drink, how much and at what time.

Example
at 8am, eat 3 eggs scrambled, and 16 oz water
at 11am, eat a banana and 16 oz water
at 1pm, eat 4 oz chicken and a salad with 16 oz water
at 4pm, eat Yogurt
at 7pm, eat 3oz cheese and 2 pieces bread and 16 oz apple juice
at 9pm, eat a pop tart with peanut butter, and 8oz water
(do this every day)

I need something THIS SIMPLE that works. I need it to be something I can do at work, and on weekends, and I need it to be the same everyday. I know that one day a week you can eat/drink all you want (Sunday maybe), but I also know you have to do the same every day.

Can someone help me (I just made up the above diet, doubt it will work)?

i can't give you the exact answer.

however, portion control is a big part of eating to lose or maintain wt.
for instance, i'd only eat 2 eggs, 2 oz of cheese (high calorie; try low fat cheese), 1 piece of bread and not the pop tart, 3 oz of chicken.

8-10 cups of water/day thru out the day. try not to drink your calories, like the apple juice. a few oz ok but i'd rather eat a fruit rather than drink juice. more filling.

good luck. keep researching and you'll come up with some good suggestions.
it also depends on how much wt you want to lose. and get moving. do some walking and that will really help.

Default Hello July

Hello July. When I lost the weight I did, it was not so much counting calories, as it was watching what exactly I put into my mouth. I did some simple changes in the "whole" way I looked at food. For example, I cut out those things I knew to be bad for me, like soda, margarine, oils, and fatty foods. No fast food restaurants. It isn't that hard to start small, and then gradually add some foods that are very good for you. I ate an apple before my dinner. I added fruit and more fresh stuff. I did cut out most pasta and white bread.
I tried to increase the amount of water I drank. I also learned not to inhale myfood so fast. I slowed the whole meal down and chewed each bite. I got fuller so I ate less. Once your stomach shrinks down just a bit, you can reduce your portion size. I remember when I ate a whole steak. That same steak today goes for three meals. I know this isn't exactly what answer you are looking for but it is how I did loose 65 pounds and kept it off now these past 4 years. You can PM me for some really fantastic food ideas to put into your diet. For example eat oatmeal, the steel cut variety. I also make alot of mexican dishes, black bean and corn buritos, Yum. I'll help any way I can.
Start your breakfast with a glass of water. Eat a piece of fruit. followed by a good portion of oatmeal. This starts the day off really good. I do wish you all the best. It is about the way you look at food, that helps you to change you habbits little by little. ginnie

thanks for the replies.

I guess I am a like unusual, I'm over 260 pounds now, however, I still wear my 200 pounds clothes. My waist is small, my belly is big (ugh)

I do drink a gallon of water a day during weekdays. Water isn't a problem, but really I just would love to know what to buy, what to eat, exactly.

My example still sticks, if you had to tell someone what to eat, at what time, every day, what is it (and water intake too )

If someone told me (with facts) eat a carrot 6 times a day, nothing more, I may try it. Today, I ate 3 eggs at 9am, water 16oz at 9 and 11am, 24 oz unsweet ice tea at 9am, 3 oz steak at noon, scoop of potatoes at noon, 16 water at 2pm, lunchables (turkey and cheddar), 7pm I had a 3 piece cheddar sandwich and at 10ish, a spoon of peanut butter. Not I am drinking a 24 oz cup of water with meds.

My dog eats better

help

If you can add to what you have already by choosing a variety from a list shown on the link below.

[128 foods that can serve as the basis of your Healthiest Way of Eating. Links to the articles about these foods can be found below.

Of course, there are many other nutritious foods other than those that we have included on our list that we feel are wonderful, health-promoting foods; if there are other whole foods - such as fruits, vegetables, nuts/seeds, whole grains, etc - that you like, by all means enjoy them. Just because a food is not on our list doesn't mean that we don't think that it can be included in a diet geared towards the Healthiest Way of Eating as long as it is a whole, natural, nutrient-rich food. ]

And poaching, baking, steaming or raw would cut extra calories compared to frying.

I found some simple meal plans -

[ 1200 Calorie Plan: WITH DAIRY
3 Meals + 1 Snack
3 Meals + 2 Snacks
1200 Calorie Diet Plan: DAIRY FREE
3 Meals + 2 Snacks
1200 Calorie Menus: LOW CARB
3 Meals + 2 Snacks
1200 Calorie Menu: VEGAN
3 Meals + 2 Snacks
1200 Calorie DIABETIC Diet Menus
3 Meals + 2 Snacks, Dairy Free
1200 Calorie Plan: HIGH PROTEIN
3 Meals + 2 Snacks]

maybe some of those will work for you.

Default Hi July

OK, I was up to 192. Don't buy processed meats as what is in lunchables OK? That is one tip. Only eat fresh if you can possibly do it. I am not saying not to eat cheese, but cut down on the amount. Try eating mexican like buritos.
This is my corn and burito receipe. This is fab, and pretty good for you.
Use small "thin" burritos, look at the package, some of them are real thick others are very thin. The thinner the better less carbs.
Chop, onion, tomatoe, small amount of jalepona pepper, { I get the fresh}
shredd lettus, slice avacodo, salsa ( any kind of heat you want from mild to hot), have shredded cheese on the side too.
The previous day, make a pot of black beans. Do you know how to do that?
You can portion pack in baggies and have them ready in the freezer for quick meals.
Also cook 4 ears of corn, do the same thing and portion pack the rest for add other meals.

Spead black beans in a thin line, add cooked corn in small amount on top, then add all your freshveggies, top with a dab of sour cream. This is really really good, and you will want to do it over again. That is why I make alot, so I can grab it out for a quick dinner. You heat the wrap just for 30 seconds in
There is something really good about the black bean and corn together, that this is one I come back over and over for a meal. If you add the calories, and fat, it is very LOW. The wrap is filling, and you can eat two.

If you start to cook and make meals with the fresh stuff, you can eat more and get filled. You tummy will shrink if you eat correctly, and then down the road your portions will be less with what ever you choose.

Also eat fruit in place of any snak. apples, oranges etc. I don't eat potatoe chips, fries, not even peanut butter as a rule. I have alot of receipies that I used while loosing the weight, this was just one. It is a change in your all over eating habbits that make the difference. Youare drinking plenty of water. Try eating a piece of fruit before a meal! I don't eat alot of ceareal, but use the oatmeal steel cut instead.

This can be done, you just have to sort through what you are buying to start with. Don't buy anything, like hot dogs, boxed or canned food. The soups are too loaded with salt. I have receipes for that too.
Let me know what your problem areas are, and maybe I can figure out something. Tell me what is on your next grocery list. I do want to help you. I took off this 65 pounds in under 15 months and kept it off. You can too. ginnie

I hear ya, July!

I was thinking this morning, "If only someone would package up just what I needed for 1 day and put it in my fridge." I'm talking good, fresh, healthy food (not one of those plans where they mail it to you.)

Or if I had my own chef.

Yes, these are my fantasies/daydreams, LOL!

I DO have my treadmill in operational mode after a year in the garage. I get on it every couple of days. One day I might even turn it on!

Good luck, July!
