yeah, another big bang fan!:D

Jeff said his gig went fine there was a good turn out. They have played dances for over 60 years.
But every year they don't know if they will have enough money to do it....some one pulled thru at the last minute.
The pay is terrible but they love the band so hubby thinks it is worth his time.

Dave, We are rewatching the x-files on season 8...there are 9 so we need to get the last season. The new series( 6 episodes) starts soon. yeah!

We watched LOST for many years...did you ever watch that?
Have a great evening!

magic scrubbing bubbles really does the trick at dissolving the hair spray build up.
It took about an hour to clean the floors, no was not tired. Just happy that that was done.
I only saw 2 of my clients yesterday, her mother did not feel well enough to come over. So it was just the husband and wife. She told me about her gastric surgery last month. She was doing so well with losing weight. I could not imagine having to sip on fluids ALL DAY. For the rest of her life.
Can't eat this or that. Such a life changer. When you are desperate though it calls for drastic measures.
I went to my NAMI support group meeting and saw stephanie. She has been depressed and staying in bed. I suggested she look into an IOP, intensive out patient program. I really think it may help her.
She is going to think about it.
Happy Martin Luther King jr. day!
I am working, have 4 people to see.
Jeff is home.
I need to get going.
thanks for reading.

Hi bizi,

The new reboot of the X-Files is coming here soon, I am very much looking forward to it. Same with Heroes Reborn which is here in a few weeks. The original tailed off and became twisted in it's own storylines, but we stuck with it. I thoroughly enjoyed Lost, even stayed up til 3am as they broadcast the Finale simultaneously here. I was such a fan I still remember the numbers on the Hatch - 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42:eek:

I also enjoy Michael Emerson (from Lost) in Person of Interest with Jim Caviezel.

Dave.

Dave we watched the entire series 4 times then hubby said we are not watching it again.
3 years later he said "want to watch lost"? So we watched the whole series again...it was great!

I was going to go to whole foods and have a beer, really had to fight that urge.
Was going to go before my last client,, but changed my mind at the last minute, thinking about how would I be able to stop at 1 beer. Then Jeff was home and we would have dinner together before the concert tonight. By the time I got home, jeff had already left to go to the university, he is chairman of the concert committee and had to help the guests set up the stage etc.
I have 2 friends coming to pick me up at 6:45 the concert is at 7:30. We are going a bit early to try to find a place to park. Jeff put us on the guest list. So it won't cost us anything.
I am not sure what to think of this"concert". It has something to do with african american poetry set to piano....I will report more when I return.
I work tomorrow....last saturday to catch up from the holidays.
Talked to 2 people today about providing my services to their residents. One wants me to type up a letter describing my services and they will send the note to all of their family members of the residents. Which is a great idea that I have had before but that is solicitation so could not do that.
Have a great weekend!

There were only two people, one playing piano and the other acting and reciting poetry.
It was excellent!
Even so, IT WAS TERRIBLY attended.
Maybe 15 people there, what a shame.
sigh
Lack of publicity on ULL 's part.
It was in the paper under book reviews because of jeffs friend. She noticed Jeff's facebook post about the performance.
anyway
We felt bad for the actor from new york!

Mmmmm salmon! Must have some this week. We had Piri Piri Chicken, steamed rice and chestnut mushrooms. 499cals. Spices in the sauce have increased the burning in my nerves, and the carbs in the rice were a little naughty, but it was gooood:)

I had a long Neuro appt this afternoon, with a 55 mile round trip. I deserved a treat.

Dave.

have you ever tried fried califlower instead of rice?
I was naughty tonight. ate a hot dog with creole mustard and carmelized onions and swiss cheese. on a very soft white bun.
comfort food.
yuck, am sure it had nitrates etc. and who knows what
100% beef means?

Hi bizi,

Not tried fried cauliflower, we use it steamed as a side vegetable - or smothered in cheese sauce and baked as a Winter Warmer dish. The rice is a rare enough treat that I am not too bothered by it.

100% (of) beef is probably what it means in a hotdog. Including everything from lips to tail:D Doesn't stop them tasting sinfully good, though:)

Dave.
