Got up early after not sleeping too well.
For some reason my less than 2 beers last night had me feeling drunk most of the evening...sigh
went to bed at 9:30 and could not sleep but then did and got up at 5.
very unusual.
I am not a morning person.
Ate some leftover lentil chunky soup as I was hungry even though I had a huge dinner at 8pm.
I am going to be contributing to this thread, going to try to be healthier and holding myself accountable here.

Hey Bizi,

Sorry you're going through a rough patch. I've noticed that you're a much happier, more settled person when you're AF. I think you know that too. We're our own worst enemies sometimes. I don't drink, but sometimes I don't have the sense to stop taking on so much and end up a wreck because I'm too exhausted to think straight. Different problems, similar results. Can't sleep properly, gain weight.

Broke my toe Monday night and passed out Tues at the hairdresser's. Great start to my week, eh?

Carol

I gained 3kg in 2 weeks.... I try so hard to eat healthy. My inability to tolerate fibre causes me no end of grief. If I have a salad for luck a few days on the trot I end up with a bowel obstruction - every time. The food I tolerate easily and has little fibre is always the fattening stuff, cakes, breads etc etc it's so not fair. The more weight I put on the harder it is on my spine. I'm trying really hard to maintain a 60 - 62kg weight range, reasonable for my height, 58-59 is ideal but I just can't sustain it, I'm back to 63kg. We go on a cruise this Tuesday for 7 nights. DB says he will be 78 going on 88 coming off. I so hope I can be 63 on and 63 off.

Pam,
I checked the internet and found 63kg to be around 138.5 pounds. Is that correct?? When you write you are 58-59 height. Is that in inches? If so, this would be just an inch or two under 5 feet tall. Is this your correct height??

I, unfortunately am a sweet addict; My meals are just enough to get to my desert; which unfortunately has been small dixie cups which are chocolate sundaes. They come in a box of 24. I am a bad influence on my husband because both he and I consume a Sundae daily after dinner.

Lunch; same thing; I get through a lite lunch....can't wait to get to coffee and my slice of cinnamon crusted pound cake or cookies. This goes on ever day; plus even yummies often later in the evening.

I am so upset with myself. When I came home from the hospital almost 4 months ago; I had lost 10 pounds. Guess what:??? I have found almost all of them. Bummer !!!!!!

Hi Gerry, 58-59 kg in weight (not height) would be ideal. I'm 163cm in height. There are 2.2lb to 1kg. I used to be too thin, for many years I weighed around 52kg. Had no idea I was underweight, but looking back, even though I had pain it wasn't as bad now that I'm heavier. I got up to 75kg due to medication and worked hard to get down to 62. Then back up to 66 and with a change again in medication it dropped off to 56, change in medication again and up to 65. It's like a merry go round only I'm not so merry with it.... I am one of the few who don't relish everyday sweets, I love savoury flavours, salads and veg, they don't love me being full of fibre!

Pam,
I think I got it now....138.6 lbs. and 5' 4" in height.

I wish I weren't such a "sweet-aholic" and more into veggies and salads. This would really help my weight problem. It is unfortunate these cause you some really nasty problems.

Going on a cruise and coming back the same weight you were when you left is a real accomplishment. Enjoy!!!!!!

Today is the first day of spring.
It is also the first alcohol free day for me in 5 weeks.
Seems fitting.
