Default Sleeping on Back Problems

I've heard that sleeping on your back is the most healthiest position to be in. However, I've always been a stomach sleeper and that is the unhealthiest sleep position. I've been trying to become more healthier is all areas dealing with the physical since I have multiple sclerosis, and the one area that I haven't achieved yet is sleeping on my back. I've tried for hours but never can achieve this. Does anyone know a trick to doing this?
