Exclamation A Loss Of 198 Lbs In Just Over A Year!!

Losing weight is possible for anybody, even with a thyroid disorder. If your mind is set,you can do it,and I'm living proof!
No diet pills necessary, just motivation, and the right medicine if you have a thyroid disorder! I lost 198 pounds in about 14-15 months, and all I did was took my thyroid medicine that I did need, and lowered the carbs in my diet, and walked about 3-4 miles a day.I started the walking a shorter distance at first, and gradually worked up to 3-4 miles/day! I started out weighing 376 lbs.and I thought it was impossible for me to ever lose very much, because all my brothers are huge, and my 1 sister, she is huge to,my Mom has had 2 abdominal bypass surgeries because her extra baggage was killing her because of her diabetes.5 of those brothers are now diabetic, and my sister to.I was told that since I'm hypoglycemic,if I didn't lose weight,I was high risk of becoming diabetic also. So,I made my plans, and got on it,within those months,I started seeing the pounds just drop, and I was fitting into smaller clothes, which motivated me even more to just keep it up,by 14-15 months,I hit my goal,I was under 180 lbs! 178 lbs to be exact! I had to buy all new clothes, but I felt good, and emotionally,I felt better than ever, because I did something I once thought was impossible. My self-esteem went up like you would'nt believe. But there is always keeping the weight off to,you've got to maintain the diet change, and continue to exercise,so the weight doesn't just come right back. But it's so worth it.Now I am a little more than 178,I'm kindof about 205,sometimes I go down to 195,I go back and forth a lot,but I'm still in the okay with me zone! And if I can do it,that means,it's possible! I'm here for anyone who's battling to lose weight, and is having a hard time, and needs some encouragement!I was there, and I know what it feels like, and I know the way people looked at us,and giggled! I know all the name calling,in school I was the cow! So I'm here if you need anyone to talk to!
