I'm sorry I couldn't check in yesterday, but my internet was down. I finally called them. We have been having a lot of trouble. I can't seem to be able to get on, in the afternoon or evening. It is so frustrating! Here I have high speed and as it turns out, its no speed.

I'm ok, but still frustated at my dr. If I keep this up my blood pressure won't go down. I'm leaving in the morning for Ohio with friends. We are actully going on a bus. I'll tell you about it when I get back.

It sounds like most of you are doing better. I'm glad to hear that! Gaye is about the same, she called yesterday. She isn't to happy having to wait on dr's either.

Billie - I haven't been on a bus in years and years. Your trip sounds like fun. Was it a church group? I can relate to your internet problems. When we first moved here 3 years ago, the city was upgrading everything and our phones and internet would just go down about 3-4 times a week. Since they (the phone company here) were the only internet provider, we were stuck. But now they have it all together and their service is wonderful. All in all, it was worth the problems. Maybe your provider is going through a similar change???

befuddled2 - Something must be in the air, I got up at 7:00 and went back to bed at 7:30. Hubby is busy this morning and he encouraged me to get some more rest. Needless to say, I didn't need to be asked twice :-) Right now my peripheral neuropathy is acting up and my feet feel like dead weights, dead tingling weights.

Hope everyone has a good week-end. I will be cleaning up the cloud of sheet rock dust left in my bedroom when they took the door out and put a window in yesterday. Fun city.

Gaye - You are in my thoughts and prayers, honey. Hang in there, I know it's tough but you have lots of support here if and when you need it. Am sending you a PM now.

i have bee going back to bed so your right, something must be in the air. My husband was always having things done to our house too so I can relate to the dust part. Once we had a tub surround put in and the guy who took out the tile had dust all over the house.

No Nancy, it wasn't a church group. It's my bank group. They go places all the time. My friends also have another bank group and since I go with them I have two chances to go places. I first want to see if my dog will get along ok, then I might do it more often. I use to when Bob was alive, he stayed home and took care of the dog. This time he will be at my-sister-laws. The trips are fun and they stop every 2 hours for a break. I'll have to drive on a curvey, hilly road in the dark in the morning tho, to meet the bus. I think it will be fun and I will be with my friends that I don't see very often.

I too, can identfy with those messes of doing something with the house. The reward is good though. Well you all be good till I get back and stay well if possible.

When we do a messy home project we hang old sheets or plastic over the doorways/openings - that seems to help- and we vacuum a lot of the dust with the shop vac often so it doesn't get tracked thru the house.
Of course we just wised up to doing that in the last few years- LOL

Oh hubby was giving me a hard time this morning cause i left the sprinkler on all night
good thing it isn't summer - or might have run the well dry.
