Morning all!
Wiix...welcome! By the way....no way to loose 50 pounds quick. The best thing to do is loose 1 to 3 pounds a week so that it stays off. There are no quick fixes for loosing that much. Trust me I know...I am trying to work off 70 myself.
Anywho. Quiet weekend. Todd and I need to get to a local mall so that he can get new frames. One of the nose thingies came off and he can't find a replacement to fit. So it is off to get new lenses and frames so that he doesn't keep getting cuts on the size of his nose.
Then it is off to Blockbuster to trade in the DVDs I got in the mail for those in the store for free....I belong to the Total Access program. Its pretty cool.
Well that is my weekend.

Good Saturday morning. Well, I am home from my trip to Phoenix where we had good visits (and I had one of those horrible "embarrassing" moments - right up there in my top 3! Will tell you about it later...) We also spent one night in Las Vegas away from the Strip and spending it with my son who turned 24. That was really nice. My husband took him shopping for his birthday so he's stocked up on underwear & socks until next birthday, and some jeans and shirts.

When I got home I crashed and am still really tired today. I push it while on "vacation" and then have to sleep 3 days when I get home to be able to function. I'm still goofy but I needed to check in here. Hope all is well with everyone!!! I missed you all. Did Billie and Gaye get together? I was really excited for them. I will read all the postings and get caught up. Bye for now.

Nancy it sounds like you had a nice time but understand needing to recover from your vacation too.
WE are headed to the woods for an overnight camping excursion with some friends of ours.
Have never done this before with them nor really by ourselves...when we lived in ARizona we used to throw up a tent and sleep but never any cooking so this will be new. They have the camp stove etc.
there is not any running water there...great!
will be back tomorrow so quick trip.

I think its gonna storm, its getting really dark outside. We need the rain and I won't have to water the flowers. I worked today at this little place thats a used Christian store. I am tired, but well.

No Nancy, Gaye & I haven't got together untill this coming Thursday. Time is going fast and I haven't cleaned much. Gaye said she wouldn't come back if I done much. She may stay here then. LOL I have a golf cart now and Bear and I run on it a lot. He loves being out in the wind.

We have wondered where you were. I thought maybe you were sick. Glad you weren't!

Bizi~ I hope your not getting the storm we are about to get. Camping sounds fun once, but don't think I would care to do much of that. I have cooked on camping stove when the electric was off in the country, & I didn't care for that either. Without electric, nothing is fun, no air condititioning, no lights, no fan. have fun!

Hi everyone, have an extra couple of boys here for the night so it has been busy around here. THese 2 are like my own sons and if they are not here my son is at their house.

Not much planned for the weekend around here. I think I will ask hubby to take me to a movie tomorrow. We never get out by ourselves so I think it is time.

Just checking in. I did nothing today absolutely nothing I just laid around and watched TV. It was great. HUbby is making dinner right now...mmmmm kabobs.

Sue have fun at the movies. I am going to see Knocked uP tomorrow morning.

Ack Bizi you are brave going camping. Not me, not until there are electrical outlets in the trees for my hairdryer.

I washed clothes and cleaned some today. I still don't feel so hot though with these allergies. We are expecting rain today which is Sunday through Monday I believe.

Shelley, I can get 3 movies at a pop. When I return them I get 3 back in the mail. It works like Netfilx but you can trade in the movies you get in the mail for movies in the stores. I like it much better.
Well the glasses expedition didn't go as planned. None of the places on the list take the insurance for Todd's vision plan anymore. It is crappy but now we realized how crappy it truly is. Todd has to call on Monday and as what the heck is going on.
That has been my weekend so far. Nancy I am glad you are back!

Wendy, that is ashame that your insurance doesn't cover eye glasses in the places you went to. I know that sometimes eye glasses can be really expensive too.
