Confused Am I doing it right?

Hi everyone. My name is Bennett and I'm here to ask if what I'm doing us the right thing to do.

Lemme explain; I'm a 20 year-old trans gendered male (Female to Male). I'm pre operations and pre hormone therapy. Growing up I've always had problems with my weight. No I wasn't over weight. I've always been under weight. For example in high school I weighed 115 lbs and my height even to this day is 5 ft 3. I struggled with gaining weight till I was 18. I told my doctor I wanted to be at a stable weight area. She said for my age and height 120-130 was the best range for me. I try and stay at 125 to 132 lbs because I feel most comfortable there. I eat healthy(and admit I spoil myself time to time). And ride my bike everywhere(unless it's too far so instead I ride a bus or car). My family is known for their very high metabolism. But for the men it stays while females it lowers. So I'm trying to figure out if what I'm doing is helping me stay in my ideal weight scale.

Hi pegagamer

Welcome to NeuroTalk.

You could ask your doctor to refer you to a professional dietitian.

A dietitian will be able to review what you eat with you and (depending) may suggest ways in which it could be changed to help you keep your weight in a healthy range.
