I don't suppose many of you will be in today, but thought I'd post anyway. I went to my meeting yesterday and have a lot to read today and many forms to fill out just to see if I've read and got much out of it. I had to have a shot yesterday and more to come. I have to go back tomorrow for them to check the shot I had yesterday. I didn't know there would be so much to all this volunteering. It's good I didn't have anything planned today.

It's raining, not so good for a holiday. I woke up in back pain, and should of known it was going to rain. Weatherman said it wouldn't till night time, but he was wrong. I hope you all have a good day!

Love your fireworks. I just got back from New Hampshire from my brothers (1/2 brother dad's 2nd wife) high school graduation. Boy do I feel old.

Just gonna relax today and try to get over jet lag.

Shelly, I am going to do Hospice volunteer work. There is a lot to it. I had to watch several CD's and get one shot yesterday. Now I am in the process of taking written test to show I have read the written matieral they have gave me. This is all for terminal patients and their families. I think I'll like it, but until I start, well it's hard to tell. I have had to learn the 5 stagest of death, know when & who to report to, what to say to the family, things like that. The only reason I would ever help with this, is because when my husband went thru these things, I know how important it is to have Hospice around. I can't say enough good things they will do to help out. I needed their help and I got it & I would like to think I could help someone else in the same situation.

I always wanted to be a nurse and I didn't do it. I did go therw nurse aide training, but never used it either. Now I was ask if I would like to be a small part of their team & yes, I would like the opportunity. I believe this is part of my heart that I want to share with others.

tonight is the concert with the symphony out doors with fireworks at the end.....so hopefully it has stopped raining until tomorrow. Now the sun is out and should be nice.
It is hard to figure out how hot and humid it is here and then they freeze you with the air conditioning.
I wore a sweater today!
