Default The start of a new week

Good Afternoon All;

Everyone must be having a nice, relaxed Sunday, gearing up for a new week. If you are NOT having a relaxed Sunday, I send my regrets.

Did anyone have a wild Saturday night? Mine was wild but with pain, a #10 on the 1-10 scale. My Peripheral Neuropathy in my feet was ticked off about something and letting me know it. Almost went to the ER to see if they could help. Has anyone done that with their pain? Did the ER help?

One thing, it was great for my diet because I was not hungry at all so I ate very little all day. Just water and a few crackers with my meds. Hope the scale reflects this when I weigh in next.

I'm just resting today - absolutely exhausted. Take care all and have a great day!

Hugs and Kisses,
Nancy-H (H for Hurting )

Nancy I am so very sorry you were off the chart lastnight! Next time think about going on to the ER and getting some relief Sweetie. Don't suffer that way.

I am on a break from trimming more of those tree's. The sun is peaking hard at those wet spots now by golly! Won't be long this overgrown wetland will be dry! My rubber boots have been working OT let me tell ya!

Jamie and Chris are working rounding up cows with Jamie's boss, my son and his fiance went to the movies after church so it is nice and peaceful......(Shhhhh! Don't say it too loud dummy Sheryl! All hell will break lose if anyone hears the day has been serene!!) Well Katie is here and other than her following me my every step the day has been nice. I just came in my room and shut the door so she has to stop!

I am drinking a Tab and eating baby carrots! I drank a bunch of water today and I am having my son bring me some chicken so I don't hafta cook today! While my flair seems to have left me I want to get those tree's done. So I will holler later on. Have a great day everyone!

Billie said that is what she diagnosed me with. Peripheral Neuropathy. Lord I hope not! It seems really painful! Don't you think that was a wrong dx's Billie???

Good morning, A peaceful day here too. We just had breakfast of scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. I found the turkey bacon at Costco and it is really good. A lot lower in fat.

Nancy, I hope that you are on the downhill slide of your pain. I have never gone to the ER for pain although there have been times I have considered it. The ER's here are always so busy, especially on the weekends so I just sufferd through with ice and a prayer. Well pain pills too.

Hi Sher, yes be careful about saying out loud that it is a peaceful day or they might hear you ha ha. Enjoy it girl, you deserve it.

To all that follow--I hope it is a nice relaxing Sunday for everyone....SUe

Hello everyone,
I have spent today watching a Law and Order marathon and I cooked a big Lc dinner so I will have to tackle the dishes later, and I hate the idea because I am hurting like hell today!
Tomorrow is the day I get my feet wet, literally...going to the gym for some pool walking. I committed to an hour of movement each day and I am going to do it if it kills me! I have to do this, is the only way to help my pain.
Have a good day everyone!

Red face

Dera nancy,
I am so sad to hear you were in such pain last night...yes people go to the ER for pain control and they sometimes get admited to figure out a pain med regimen that works.
I am hoping to that you are feeling alittle better today.
(((HUGS)))

Thumbs up Good Afternoon~

Wow Junie, You lost 101.5 pounds in 3 years. Pat yourself on the back. That is great, to say the least. I can't even imagine so much. If I can loose even half that much I will be thrilled.

Sheryl~yep, I think you could have P. neuropathy. You have the symptoms. I have had it for years and while it isn't pleasant, there are worse things. I feel my back is the most painful and even tho I do just what I am told to do, the problems go on, the surgeries continue, just because of pain. Nothing really is the right answer.

I have often wondered if living in the right climate would help! Our cold rainy days are the worst, for sure. I would just love to live in Sedonia, AZ. We went there on vacation a couple yrs ago and I felt GREAT! I can't afford to live there tho.

Nancy~ I do hope your pain level is down. You would be lucky if ER helped you with it. They never helped me none and besides that, it takes forever for them to test you. It took all night with my husband. I figure where we live it doesn't pay. Since 10 is consideredall we can stand,I would ratter be at home. Here's hoping you all have a good day.

Hi gang~
Better late than never! I've been lollygaggen around. How many of you have written THAT word before?? It's a first for me...

I think I sprained my thumb going between the Vikings and Twins on TV. Vikings lost, but it was an exciting game, and they were in it till the end. THe Twins took the Division, which went down to the last game, and it was really exciting! Well, OK, for ME it was!!

It was a terrible day to be inside--it was 84 degrees here!! The only problem is those d@mn lady bugs/Eurasian Beetles!! I take my life into my own hands every time I go out my back door. It faces South, and is the local hang-out! I feed them too--they bite!! ggrrrrrrr

Sorry so many are hurting!!! Jeepers Creepers anyway.... everybody, come 'ere...
There! That outta help a little!

BS-If you need to go to the ER honey, you GO to the ER, ya hear? Read your email!! They will be able to see why you are there. Just make sure to be open about your conditions and meds. Also make sure to tell us how you are too, k? Only cuz we love you! If we didn't give a rats we wouldn't bother to ask for updates!!!

I hope everyone feels better tomorrow. I didn't walk OR drink water today, but I WILL tomorrow!!! Have a great evening!
Hugs,
LS

Default Pain

Remember the days when doctors made house calls? I remember our doc coming to the house when we had the flu because you NEVER left a warm bed when the flu hit as that would make you worse! He would go from bedroom to bedroom checking all of us out. That's what stopped me last night - I didn't want to walk anywhere and I didn't want me to wake my DH. He wasn't feeling so hot himself. (He's been disabled since 1990.)

Sedonia, AZ is where I want to live as well! It is expensive, however. I love our town here, it is growing so everything is new and people are friendly. People actually attend town meetings and become involved in their city. But, there are those 2 months of horrible HOT weather. Oh well, I'm not moving an inch - HA!

Hi Nancy, don't ya just love this time of year though. We made it through another hot summer and every year I think I can't take it anymore but I do. I do hope you get to feeling better. So you are old enough to remember house calls huh??? geeze I guess that does that make you the big sis. Just kidding with ya now. Is there a hospital where you are. I have only drove through at night after a long trip home. I think the last time hubby and I went on an overnighter was probably 10 years ago and I am sure the town has changed a lot since then. I do hope that this pain lets up on you because it is scary when the pain hits that 10+ range. Take care of yourself...Sue
