Cool Wake up call for Tuesday~

I'm so sorry it is so early but Bear and I are going to the vet hopefully earily today. He has a smell about him that I can't tolerate any longer. I did give him a bath but it didn't help. Now I'm wondering if it is a tooth or something like that. Lifting him yesterday didn't help my back any either. It was neccesory,so I done it.

It's suppose to be a beautiful day outside today. I do hope to get something more done. It has been narrowed down to two more visits of house hunting and I think I'll call it quits and take one of them. I just got to move, the soomer the better for the next surgery is in 3 weeks. I have to be careful with that too.

Lets give at a big cheer today for the nice weather and a good attiude Try to give it your best this day! Good Luck[ and Best Wishes for the day!

Hello Ladies,
I am still doing well, a bit sore from my first day of exercise but all in all I am feeling good about myself. I got the first 100 lbs off by doing exercise...mainly walking...but any movement beats no movement!!
The water felt wonderful on my skin and I am now motivated to see my committment through!
I am sure you guys had a good group at the other site but I am a member of another forum and keeping up with 2 of them is all I can manage...so I will stick around here as long as others do too!

Default Morning All

Well, it's been an exciting morning at my house. It is starting to cool down here in the mornings so at 5:30 I woke up to take my med I need to take early. Then I opened my door to the living room to open the screen. My damn dog (sorry) went running past me, down the hall and into the guest bedroom where my son was sleeping. (Hubby was out of town last night so I make my son come and sleep at my house to protect me - ha ha.) She jumped up on the bed and pee'd. This is the 2nd doggie no no she has pulled in 24 hrs. She managed to get away from me and was hiding because she knew she was in deep doo doo. I finally found her in my bed under the covers.

So this must be a dog day for us, Billie. One stinker and one tinkler. Let me know in an e-mail what the vet said, Billie. I know my female dog gets a smell when her glands are filled. My hubby takes care of that part 'cause I can't handle it. When my step-son is in town, he does all that squeezing plus cuts her nails, cleans her teeth, etc. He has been in practice as a Vet now 1 year!

Well enough of animals. Bizi and Junie - glad to have you here this morning. I have not decided what to do about the other site yet but I guess I'll pop over there to check it out.

Love ya all!
Nancy

Hi everyone, been a busy day today for me, I have finished laundry and cleaned up my bedroom and hubby vacuumed for me so it looks so nice right now, I am sure I will sleep good tonight.

Still making good choices...well sort of. I have been eating alot of fruit but I did have 2 oatmeal cookies yesterday, I stopped at 2 so I consider that a victory...well sort of

Billie, how did it go at the Vet? I hope you are able to find a new home soon. I am stillthinking positive thoughts/prayers for you. I know your next surgery date is coming up.

Bizi, congrats on getting to the gym. You are a good role model for us here. You are always upbeat and positive and it rubs off on is here.

Hi Junie, I am going to start walking myself too. How far or long do you walk at a time? Losing over 100 pounds is something to be very proud of. I wish I could get my dog under control so I could take her walking with me. That is something I am going to work on.

Hi Nancy, the mornings are so nice now. I have been going out on the patio and having my coffee, listening to the birds. I actually prefer fall over spring. Probably because I know that summer is over. My dog used to piddle like that when she got excited. It seems like she outgrew it though because she doesnt do it anymore. It was so frustrating and I went through bottles of carpet cleaner.

Well I better get back to work. I am so close to being caught up so I don't want to quit too soon...Sue

Hi Ladies,
When I first started walking it was 5 min, then 10 until I built up to 1-2 hours a day and I felt ever so good...then I joined curves and in a month undid all of my hard work ( It screwed up my knees then came the spinal fusion) so I am starting over but this time in the pool instead of treadmill. I got my second day/hour in today and feel really good!

Well that gives me hope because I can't really walk for more than say 30 minutes outside on the roads here. My treadmill is not working right now, it has one speed really really fast. I need to call a tech to come out and look at it. I was walking for 30 to 40 minutes at a time but this last fall on my knee kinda screwed that up. I am supposed to get an MRI soon because the x-ray came back not so good. So I am inspired to get walking even if it is just a short ime everyday...Sue

Cool Yee gads, you scared me to death~

Well Jan, I got to admit that got a laugh out of me. And maybe a surprised look to go with it!!!I am a new Mother you didn't know that did you? I found the tinest little kitten in one of our sheds today. I thought you don't need this! I don't want it, but it was so small & alone, no mom or nothing. Well I just marched in the house and got an old towel and some milk for it. If it lives, I'll go get a formula tomorrow. Thanks Jan, you crack me up! I got to practise graphic's.
