Default Lifestyle Plan? For Health= Meals, exercises

Now that school has started again, it will be easier for me to set up some sort of schedule. So I'll be working on that.

Things like-

Meals
Food choices & shopping
Exercise
Household chores
arts & crafts

Does anyone have a schedule or "plan" for fall and winter?
It doesn't have to be a strict schedule I know mine won't be
more of a flexible plan to follow

Summer is so hit and miss around here- no plan or schedule at all...except get hubby off to work LOL

Hi Jo, I have already started on my plan for changes I want to make. It includes meal planning and exercise. It is so hard during the summer to plan meals with everyone going in all different directions but now that things are on a schedule I am planning healthy meals with lots of veggies.

I am also looking into getting a recumbant bicycle. I used one at the gym and it didn't hurt so I was telling hubby I wanted to get one for use at home. I no longer go to the gym as it was too expensive and we didn't go often enough to justify it. Walking on the treadmill causes some jarring in my neck so after walking the headache was unbearable.

If I come across any good recipes I will share them with everyone...Sue

Darn It Sue;

We had an almost new recumbant bike we sold to my sister-in-law for $100. It was in great shape! Oh well, what's past is past.

How have you been anyway?

Take care;

yep. i'm sticking to it.

meals...back on track with all home cooking. having the house up for sale messed that up. then the move. i'm back to cooking all meals. no pre packaged stuff. i enjoy cooking. no eating out. lots of fresh veggies and fruits. no red meat.

starting my day with my 12 oz bottle of water. first thing. then either 1 cup..and yep..a cup not a mega mug of either decaf or herbal tea.

exercise...go to the fitness center here right smack after i dropped kiddo's at school. atleast 30 minutes of cardio, then machines for the body part i;'m working that day. if the cardio equipment is full...i have yoga videos or fit tv.

i am a self confessed clean freak. i clean everything..everyday. that won';t change. i love to organize. weirdo huh?

craft...oh boy..i can't wait to start!!! i packed up all of it when we put the house on the market. not sure what i am going to do, but hopefully make and seel some of my teddy bears for christmas. i have a huge box of christmas fabrics and notions.

i wanted to add:

i'm using a calander program i have to keep track of everything. my vitamins and supplements too. i got off on taking them too.

it's helping me to keep it real. no fudging. if i eat something....even a little bit, i track it. it has made me aware of doing the little exercising during the day. stretch!

Hi Nancy, doing ok I guess. I am ready for summer to be over as I am sure so is everyone else. I am still going through testing for my ovaries and other things. I just had another biopsy done and will get the results tomorrow. I have been in a bad pain flare that just won't quit. My head feels like it needs a hole burrowed in it to let the pressure out.

I have not bought the exercise bike yet, I went to Costco and they were sold out. I am going to another sporting goods store today though. I looked at them online and know which one I want. I have to make sure the boy does his math homework first because once I bring it home he will want to put it together so I am using it against him to get his work done first. I have 4 more years of this and I am really looking forward to having my kids done with school. I told them they are on their own when it comes to their college homework ha ha.

Are you through traveling for a while? I traveled more this summer than any other and while it was fun it is good to be home. ...Sue
